I'm not here to make excuses.  Everybody's banged up at this point in the season, but he's just not getting it done.

Sit him down for a game to let him get right.  Even if he just seethes for a couple of days, and then comes back hungry and p---ed for game four, it's worth the gamble.

Start Mickael.  He'll be hungry.  Give Sasha a little burn off the bench, and try to steal game three without the Captain.

Hes not getting it done because he isnt taking the game seriously and is playing careless, he doesent look injured to me anymore, he looks lazy and lethargic, typical "coasting" Pierce.

We have seen this movie before.

Know what a lot of people aren't understanding about Pierce? He's getting good shots, and still making huge plays. His shots just aren't falling. This isn't just about the knee issue. It's him simply missing makeable shots. He's even missing close range shots.

Look at the big blocks and defensive plays that Pierce is making on the defensive end. He can play. His jumper is just off.

Whatever it is, I still say; rest him for a game.  He's certain to come back playing better after that.

I think the biggest problem with PP right now is his bad ball handling and making WAY too many turnovers.  I don't know if that comes from his knee or not?  It def comes from a combination of being lazy with the ball, not throwing crisp passes and not being into the flow enough to not make stupid mistakes.   It makes it hard to win when PP is turning the ball over 5,6, times or more a game.  That has to improve.

Those turnovers are tomahawk dunks in the next round.

Agree, Pierce needs to sit, anyone on our bench will contribute more than pierce is right now.

We aren't going to get to the next round if we can't stop throwing the ball away.
I mean our shooting was horrible, but every team is going to have bad nights shooting the ball.  We were getting good shots, we were just missing a lot of them.  We played good D on them for most of the game.  In these closely contested games, grind it out games those 5 possessions that PP turned the ball over could be the difference in the game.

It isn't all on PP.  RA and KG have also had that problem as well.  It is the playoffs, the D is going to be better against you.   We need to take care of the ball to give us more chances to score.  Let's face it we are not a great scoring team.  Turnovers kill us in THIS series.

That's most likely the Truth.

Sit Paul Pierce, and we introduce a scenario where we can lose this series. Stop being so silly and reactionary. Was Pierce's big plays in game 1 not important, especially that huge blocked shot in the first half?

We sit Pierce, we make this series infinitely easier on the 76ers. Don't be crazy.

Pierce just needs to be more aggressive and focus in. I watched game 6 of the Atlanta series today. His knee didn't really seem to slow him down all that much. He took nine shots and few were at the rim.

Iggy is a very good defender but Pierce has to accept the challenge and be aggressive.

I agree. If Pierce is gonna keep shooting horribly and making dumb turnovers, might as well sit him until he's at least feeling stronger.

Who do you play? Pietrus? Sure he hit a couple threes but he is shooting horribly. Daniels? No. Pierce at least keeps Philly honest on D and they can't just clog the lane on Rondo and KG.
