He Celts have played one good game all playoffs long.  They simply have to play better if they have any hope.  Game 3 looms huge now that we blew hca.

Can Igoudala really shut Pierce down like that?

I don't think people realized what kind of defensive stopper Iggy is.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

Well that's shocking if people didn't realize that. He has pretty much been known as a defensive stopper since he entered the league.

I know how good he is, but he isn't that good. No one is. He is as good as Deng I would say. Pierce just didn't bring it. His looks didn't look any different. He just looked nostalgic tonight, no urgency.

Pierce is missing wide open shots. He also is playing terribly and turning the ball over even when Iggy isnt guarding him.

Our MVP is getting it done (KG), but our second most valuable player (Pierce) is playing hurt.  When he's not 100%, it makes it really difficult to score consistently.

I'm guessing the Captain is not real pleased with his output either.

Rondo and KG are co-MVPs.  Unfortunately, Paul Pierce is not in the discussion right now.  Hopefully, he can get right.

We need Rondo to dial in as well. He is too streaky right now, even for him.

Im still rocking my Pierce Jersey to Game 4 regardless. I'll always have faith in the Captain. He's won us games or brought us back from the abyss far too many times for me to ever doubt him.

13 assists, 1 turnover, 7 rebounds, a couple of steals,  making plays down the stretch.  That was another very solid game by Rondo.

We really don't need Rondo dropping 25 a game.  That's not when this team is at its best.  They are at their best when he's diming and the other guys are making the easy shots that he creates.

How about when he is diming and dropping around 25 points lol?  ;)

Nice win.

Nice win.
