This guy will score 20 points, and wont miss a jumper all night. Ending his playoff slump, and letting the world know what this team looks like when Bass can hit shots, we are contenders!

When Bass's jumpers are hitting, we are indeed a far more dangerous team all around.

I hope he doesn't get gun shy. Hit or miss, I really like how he just takes the shot when he's open. A lot of times, he's the one we go to when we're in one of those offensive lulls where everybody seems to want to pass.

It's definitely going to come around if not tomorrow sometime in the series. They don't want Paul or KG having those so they are basically daring him to knock them down he'll make them pay soon enough.

Oh my, Brandon Bass and the playoffs... the regular season was one thing but the playoffs are for the big boys to come out and play hard. Look at what Glen Davies did, he proved to all that he is an NBA playoff calibre player with battle scars and medals from his Celtics days!

Brandon should muster all his strengths and prove to us all that the trade was not a bust! Please come out and play, and shoot that ball!

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I want "No Pass" Bass tonight. As soon as he gets in rhythm, he'll be knocking jumpers all night.

I agree with this, in Game 1 he had a ton of shots that he always makes. I think Doc has shown him the tape, pointed out HIS shots and how he can continue to get them, and Brandon will come out confident.

I like the way he started Game 1.  He just shot the ball.  He didn't make anything, but he took the shots.  I think he started 0-4 really quick, then he had another wide open 15 footer but pulled that one down.  If he is going to do that, Doc should bench him.

Sooner or later, those shots will start to fall. Not concerned.

They're the type of shots he is good at. Just keep taking them.

Yeah, I was also happy to see him go into the paint and get a few buckets there and a foul drawn when he found his shot not falling.

For 24 minutes his overall contributions where right in line with his usual this season. If he can make a few jumpers that he hits a high % of over his career he'll earn more minutes.

I think (and hope) you are right. He was simply part of a bad matchup against the quicker Hawks down low. He couldn't get into his game and therefore his offense and defense suffered mightily.

He got a lot of open looks in the beginning of Game 1 against the Sixers that he makes 8 out of 10 times. I think he will come out in Game 2 and hit them consistently.

Remember he had a horrible game this regular season where he didn't make a shot and he came back with a monster game after all his teammates joked with him about it.

Bass will be fine and when he does start contributing, watch out.

Someone actually took the time to edit and photoshop that picture? haha I gotta admit its funny, but a bit dramatical...he made jumpers all season long and his switch to the starting lineup at pf and getting rid of the fossil that was jermaine o neal was a reason for our resurgance....give the kid a break...like you said this slump will be over soon
