Bosh couldn't even make it out of the locker room at halftime.  Looked like a pretty serious abdominal strain.  Didn't KG have one of those in '08 and miss like 15 games because of it?

Assuming it is a serious strain, and he has to miss multiple games, would the Pacers now be the favorite to win the series?  They're doing pretty well here in game 1 (57-52 as of this post), even with the refs doing everything they can to put the Pacers' most advantageous players on the bench with terrible foul calls.

If the Pacers win this game then yes.  If not, no.

Heat wont stand a chance if Bosh cant play. Heats players are finally getting infected with the injury bug that everyone else has been suffering through these playoffs.

Joel Anthony is killing them... doesn't look to be making a difference if the Pacers aren't trying to box out.

How serious an injury is it?

If Bosh is out of the Conference Finals, Boston is suddenly the firm favourite to win the East.

Depends on whether the Heat are being cautious or Bosh is in too much pain to play. A strained abdomen should rest a couple of weeks at least but often longer, since there is a great risk that you can make the injury worse.

if Bosh is our vs us, then IMO Garnett will just explode in that series. But James and Wade duo still scares me. I mean Bosh was always a 3rd wheel in the whole James and Wade marriage. All their plays (if not 90%) of their plays are James and Wade isolation, or just the two of them passing to each other

even without Bosh, I still expect them to win over the Pacers

Funny to see people saying they don't stand a chance without Bosh when they closed rather easily.  The Pacers are a classic good regular season but poor playoff team.  The Heat aren't going to be challenged by them.

Us on the other hand... they need Bosh healthy.  How KG is playing, without Bosh or someone to make him work inside, they will get killed.  It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Nah Hibbert and West aren't doing much anyway Joel Anthony and Turiaf with a combination of James can make up for him. The Pacers will get swept especially w/ the way the refs are calling things.

if Indiana goes back to running the offense through hibbert/West they might be able to push this to 6games

but I think it makes our chances better...even with bosh, I liked the KG matchup. but KG going against Joel anthony, turiaf or haslam??

Decreased.  Miami is at its worst when Bosh is trying to do too many things.  This just means more shots for LeBron and Wade (probably 30 each).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

It'll remove the temptation for Spolestra to keep with a more conventional big line up.

So basically what your saying is that the Heat are better without Bosh.

Bosh was actually their most important player, when he does well the heat win, when he sucks, they lose.

Bosh will probably miss the most just this series, unless it's a tear what's the severity?

Who knows, the severity can vary so much with this sort of thing.
