Awesome, but let's be real here - David Aldridge just David Aldridge'd himself. He set himself up for that one completely. With all the questions about age that have been shot down by the team time and again over the past few weeks, of course he walks off.

The disappointing thing here is that IMO David Aldridge is (most of the time) one of the most level-headed analysts out there.

Love his commentary for the most part.

He slipped up here, though...allowed himself to get caught up in the popular (but untrue) notion of the Celtics' age conversations.

After seeing Rondo respectfully correct him I hope DA gets back to the right way of doing things....no frills, just basketball, David.

It is a fair question but would David Aldridge or Rick Bucher say that to Kobe?  Or to Tony Parker?  I don't see how those teams are any "younger" than us.

We're talking about a guy who at age 21 had a 21/8/7/6 game to help close out the Lakers.  A player who averaged close to a triple double in a 7 game series.  One who played with one arm. 

Rondo has played in 80 playoff games already. Rondo is as playoff battle tested as any 26 year old player in league history.  I love how much confidence Rondo has for his teammates and himself.    Battle tested and playoff forged.
