Ive seen quotes from the analysts/Lebron james himself who pretty much said they dont think the Pacers will pose much of a threat

honestly, I think that the pacers mathup pretty well with the heat and should give them more of a run than the Knicks did...

they have a pretty formidable frontline and are 4th in rebounds which is a weakness for miami as well as a pretty strong bench.

plus, They are a much more disciplined team offensively/defensively and that "spread the ball offense" tends to give the Heat fits..the knicks for all their "starpower" are a poor basketball IQ team

Miami should win comfortably enough in a medium length series. Five or six games.

Indiana aren't much of a threat.

I think Indiana takes them to at least six games and I think the games will be tough. I think Indiana could beat them but probably won't. But its not going to be an easy series for Miami. Not at all.

I think a sweep or a most 5 but I really hope I'm wrong! Mia has the easiest road to the ECF...
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Well, duh.  They had the side of the bracket without the Celtics.

I agree, people are underestimating the pacers. They are deep and talented, and well coached. This will not be a walk in the park for the heat for sure.

I was never that impressed with the Pacers earlier in the year when we were playing like garbage and they were beating us handily. I'm not a big Collison fan and I don't know that they have the go to offense to succeed. I'd think they'd need great play from Hibbert to do much against the Heat.

They've benched Collison in large part for George Hill, its really helped their offense.

I personally think that the Pacers are going to give Miami all they can handle. They're a tough group, and I don't think Miami will handle that toughness well. The Pacers are going to miss Foster though.

TP. I agree with this. Hibbert is a legit Center and that Pacer team has some depth. I expect this to be a series.

  Unsurprising.

Indiana don't get enough penetration in their halfcourt offense. Allow the defense to stay in between the ball and hoop. Don't force them off-balance often enough. Leads to a lot of low to medium percentage shot attempts.

Defensively, their interior defense isn't strong enough to handle slashers like Wade and LeBron consistently over a seven game series. Hibbert is too slow and immobile and none of their other bigs provide any sort of rim protection.

If Miami moved Bosh to center (against Hibbert) and played small, they'd run Indiana right off the court. A four game sweep. Unfortunately, Spoelstra continues to refuse to do that and plays less effective lineups instead so it'll drag out another game or two before Miami finishes them off.

Miami will always have another gear that Indiana simply can't match. The Pacers just don't have the talent to do it.

Miami's third best player is better than the Pacer's best player. I don't see this being much of a series.

eh, im not sure Bosh is better than Granger/David west.

its all about matchups in the playoffs, and with miami's weak frontline, David west/Hibbert should be able to take on any of their bigs offensively
