After his spectacular Game 6 vs Hawks again start talking rumors about the possible retire of KG after the playoffs.

It would be sad, KG is playing incredibly well, and I think as a fan of him, he can still play at least 2 years, he still maintains a brilliant defensive level, for me still the best defensive player in the league.

He will be a free agent, rumors say he could go to Nets, I do not believe this, if KG stays in the NBA, I'm sure it would be in Boston, Doc want KG return next year.

We will see ...

If this is the case, lets hope he gets to go out with one more piece of hardware.

I don't think he'll return to rebuild. However, if we do sign a couple of FA's, most likely 1 yr vet guys, and he feels we have a chance, then I could see him returning for one final stand. Guys I'm thinking that could sign for 1 yr deals and could lure KG back would be a re-signed Allen, Kidd (has said he wouldn't mind being a backup next yr), Camby, Kenyon Martin, etc. This doesn't include our picks, the strong potential of Green's return, the development of our young players (Bradley, Moore, Johnson), and the possible re-signings of wings Pietrus & Daniels (KG seems to be close to both) and bigs Steimsma & Hollins (guys he seems to be fond of playing with).

Clarification on Kidd; Mannix reported that he'd consider retirement if he wasn't presented the MLE or higher.

I think that just now the future of KG is uncertain.

After last night, I could see as much as $12 a year.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Is this the article we're talking about?

Because there's nothing here that hasn't already been written a thousand times: the Big Three on their last tour together, blah, blah, blah.

It's an annoyingly facile chorus to sing, and it's been sung ad nauseum. Why bother printing this stuff? It's like journalists have to file a minimum of a thousand words, so they trot out the same 750 every time to pad their columns.

I'm not sure how many more "last night's" KG has in him.  That's a once every 2-3 month performance at this point.
