Other then the Lakers, the Hawks would be our toughest matchup pesonel wise. We match up very well with the 76ers and very well with the Heat, but the Hawks...those Hawks are a matchup nightmare at almost every position.

Thank god for KG's heroics tonight and we pulled through guys.

We dont have to worry about any inside presences until at least the finals from here on out! KG and Bass will basically have their way in the paint if they want too from here on out.

Deep run could be on the horizon. Pierce needs to get right though.

I hope the Pacers bring Miami to 7 games and wear them out.

Myabe that will be avoided because these 2 series finished in 6 instead of 7 games.

don't get your hopes up yet.

C's ended the series playing like crap.  Only KG had a good game 6.  Until this team plays consistent QUALITY basketball, every other team is a bad matchup.

Philly is confident from beating the Bulls even though they were weakened.  They're deeper and more athletic.  A gimpy PP, Steimsma and Ray, a misfiring Bradley and Pietrus, a non-scoring Bass, an inconsistent Rondo and Hollins getting minutes are not reassuring for a long life in the playoffs.

If the C's get past them, it's either Miami or Indiana.
Miami will beat on Ray and PP with Wade and Bron, badly.  Rondo has to show up for every game.  KG still has to have gas in the tank.  Steimsma needs to be able to provide D in the paint.  Bass needs to score as well as 3 of AB, Ray, Dooling or Pietrus.   PP has to play like a healthy PP.
Indy has a young, athletic frontcourt and a lot of depth in the backcourt and wings.  They have a go to scorer in Granger.  They're a big team and have beat the C's handily this year.

That's nothing to get overconfident about.

^has a point.

think about it, rondo just had his first game with single digit assist in a long time. its been months since he last had one. is this rondos fault? maybe, but he needs his shooter to make the shot as well for the assist.

Atlanta is a big team.  They exposed our biggest weakness which is size.  If Horford had been 100% from the start of the playoffs we probably would have lost this series.  Even at 60% he gave us major trouble.  So glad it's over.

Pump the brakes--we don't match up well with any playoff team in the West.

We match up great with the Spurs, OKC would be tough but at least they dont have offensive threats inside like Smith and Hortford.

Perkins and Ibaka are not threats from the inside.

I would rather face OKC and the Spurs in the finals then the Lakers.

I still don't get why people think we match up well with the Heat.

I'll give you 3 reasons we don't match up well with the Heat.

LeBron.
Wade.
Bosh. (yes, Bosh. he won the matchup last year. embarassed KG)

And the "oh sweet Avery can guard Wade now" theory is out the window. Bradley is clearly not ready for the playoffs. His performance against ATL was hideous.  Ray is the guy.

We may match up "well" with the heat but they are still a better team.  But yeah, let's not get too crazy here.

A healthy Chicago was the toughest matchup. Atlanta isn't consistent enough to be our toughest matchup.

Root for the Spurs to win the West.

Those doubting Bradley's usefulness, must forget the monster playoff plays he had defensively in this series...

There are plays that took place in this series that we simply don't have a chance at stopping without Bradley being out there on the floor.

OKC is an absolute nightmare match up for us. Young, athletic, big, and healthy.
And San Antonio...top 10 in rebounding, #2 in scoring, top 10-15 in overall defense...
