This guy is nuts.

I dont know about you guys but we should be able to have enough cap room to sign this guy next year.

He wasnt being developed at all in Washington. We need to get this guy.

I would sign him for 8-10 mil a year, but nothing more. I agree the c's culture would do wonders for him and any young up and coming player, but not willing to go 12+ mil a year for him.

There will be quite a few big name big men who will be free agents in the next few years

D12
Hibbert
Josh Smith
Ibaka
Big Al
Illyasova
Millsap
Kaman

I would take any of those guys except Kaman and Millsap over  McGee

It all depends on the money really .

I 100% agree he should be the Celtics #1 target in FA. I'd give him 12+ mill if that's what it took. I think the guy has near unlimited upside and he'd flourish in this team and potentially become an all-star level player.

Stay away from him.  A lot of natural talents, no consistency.

Chances are he will become one of the most over payed player in the league.

Let us see what he can bring tomorrow night in Game Seven against the Lakers and Bynum and Gasol. He has a wonderful opportunity to do something special.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Reminds me a bit of Dalembert and his breakout performance against the Wallace brothers and defending Champion Detroit Pistons in 2005. 11.6ppg and 12.8rpg.

And then got a massive contract which Philly regretted for a long time.

I think that's a very good comparison.

Rather spent the cap space offering max contract to Harden.

I do not want McGee especially because he wants a lot of money. Every boneheaded move he does will be made more painful when we remember how much we're paying him. As much as I want some young and athleticism on the team I'd gladly trade that off for some BBIQ.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
