Actually, if the writer is correct, Rondo is clearly in the wrong here. If the cameraman is in an approved media area, Rondo has no beef whatsoever. When you make 10 large a year, there are no private moments and there are no reasonable expectations of same where the league has established that the media may work.

With that said, it's a non-issue. I'm more concerned that he's color-blind and style-blind wearing that piece of sofa upholstery.

I understand the family thing but send someone else over there to take care of it. The camera man likely wasn't in the wrong if he is right outside the press conference room. Still I wouldn't want my family's pictures taken like that either.

All that being said the kid is on thin ice and needs to chill. He can't be doing anything that could warrant another suspension. He is the key to us advancing with Pierce hobbled.

Rondo was chatting with Josh Smith's mom and daughter Genesis. Rondo and Smith went to high school together their senior year at Oak Hill Academy. You can see "Momma Smith" on the back of her jersey and hear J Smoove's daughter say "Rondo" when he was walking away.

Rondo and the whole Smith family are obviously close due to their history and past ties. Rondo is smart enough to know that he doesn't want footage on Boston and national TV networks showing him chatting and hugging it up with the Power Forward of the team who just beat his team in a playoff game in which they should have won.

If the footage of him and J smoove hugging and hanging out in the arena was played, he would have been killed locally and nationally. People would be saying "Larry Bird wouldn't be chatting it up with the guy who just whooped his ass"

I don't see the big commotion about this. Yes he was mad and confronted the cameraman, but is this warranted for all of the media coverage it's getting? No and this seems like something people are blowing up more than it should be.

On the topic, I understand he's around friends and family and wants privacy, but he has to understand that you may have to sometimes give up privacy for your career.

Truthfully my main issue is that ugly looking jacket he has on.

Some pretty astute observations here.. And i agree with you and Bo. This really is a non-issue. Leave the kid be. Let him breathe. Especially after a tough loss.

If anything i want our PG to be a little bit feisty. All good PG's usually are. I prefer his ornery/surliness to a guy like Gonzalez, who's indifferent.
