I'll tell you guys all this right now. I will defend Hollins with passion from here on out. This guy plays hard as hell. His length and aggressiveness out there is like the overzealous little nephew trying to show the uncle that he can do something positive on the court. He's so aggressive and into it out there.
This guy being on the floor bothers the Hawks bigtime, and anybody who doesn't see it is not watching the game. He doesn't have Stiemsma's shot blocking talent, not even close, but he's a much better on ball defender than Stiemer is, and he's better at altering shots of players that don't originate their possession immediately inside the post. Stiemer is better at altering when the play is solely focused down in the post, but watch Hollins' movement out there. He knows what he's doing, and he plays hard, even with whatever mistakes he may make here and there.
