one thing I know for sure about this celtics team, when their backs are against the wall they step up big time. The thing is though, I'm not sure they consider this as having their backs against the wall yet, they may wait for game 7 for that.

The Celtics should just win so my life expectancy doesn't reduce any more than it already has

Celtics need to win tonight plain and simple.  They want no parts of traveling back to Atlanta.  Even if they wound up winning game 7 the strain of more travel, battling for 7 games and the nagging injuries would make it tough going forward in the playoffs.

At home, after a day off, a team with a great coach and players with TONS of experience with playoff pressure --- the Celtics must come through, no excuses...

They have to win tonight because I don't think I can take a game 7 in Atlanta and they need some major rest because of injuries.
I hope being home and in a must win game that they show up and close it out tonight.

The Celtics really do need to win this game and finish out the series. This game basically has to be treated like an elimination game by the Celtics, as if it were the Celtics and not the Hawks who were about to be eliminated with this single loss.

The only good news is the fact that I think the Celtics made a ton of mistakes that handed what would have otherwise been a loss for the Hawks in Game 5, and so the Celtics should come out tonight with the intent to do their best to not take their foot off the gas at any point during the game, and keep applying the pressure all the way through.

I don't see it so much as the Hawks won game 5, but the fact that the Celtics lost it. The Celtics gotta go in there and take care of business tonight. I know the sense of urgency has to be there because none of these guys wants to risk a potential game 7.

It's not a do or die game. There is always a game 7 if things go wrong tonight.
However, it'll not be easy to contain a Hawks team in that possible game 7, with the crowd firing them up. The home court always matters the most when you have a chance to close a series out.
And that advantage is at our side for tonight.

Let's go Celtics..

No excuses. The Hawks are the team that deserve to make excuses for this series. They have been more hurt by injuries than we have. This isn't akin to Rondo's serious injury in last season's playoffs. The Celtics have no reason not to win this series.

If they lose it will be because they weren't the better team, not because of injuries to this or that player. We are as healthy as you could ask this team to be. This is the healthiest we have been as a team all season.

I'm confident the Celtics will go out there tonight and take care of business. They know how important this game is. They know they messed up in some serious ways in the previous game. I expect them to come out better in this game.
