Doc is good X and o's but terrible with his substitutions. Why was Daniels in the game guarding Horford?
Probably because they were more concerned about the 3.

I have to say I love Doc but what was he thinking tonight.  Why did he hold out Garnett so long.  Everyone in the building knew they were going to make a run.  I think he was a little to over confident.

Also why was Quisy even in there guarding Horford.

Those move were on Doc.

He is over thinking, go for the jugglar Doc.

He was sitting at the scorers table for a solid minute of game play.  I thought Doc could have called a timeout one possession earlier to get KG back in and stem the tide.
Yup

Great Win!!

KG? All I gotta say is this:

Sweet block by Paul there at the end....just a needed win!

Michael Gearon? (ATL Hawks Co-Owner) - you don't have to worry about the "dirtiest player" in the NBA anymore this season.

Go fish - along with DAL, ORL and NY.

Didn't see the game, was the refereeing really that slanted towards us? Biggest examples?

In any case, take that Hawks! :D

The first foul on Daniels should have been on HORFORD not Daniels. Refs were making up for their mistake.

It wasn't slanted to us at all. This is just what happens to this forum during the playoffs.

I was so frightened I couldn't ever post cause I didn't want to jinx it. Great win no matter what.

Rest the old guys, try to heal the hurted ones and unleash the honey badger against Philly.

Go Celtics!!

still can't believe they won.   Philly is going to be a **** to beat if the C's don't get their act together quickly.  Everyone has got to show up for that series and be on their game.

hopefully philly has tired themselves out after running around like they won the lottery after eliminating chicago.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS THAT WAS A REALLY GREAT GAME!

The Hawks are a legit team. They're great at defense and they played really well.

KG's jumper is as deadly as the sky hook! Boo ya!

Hope Denver wins against the Lakers now as well...
I like Marcus Smart

we got away with some stuff, i dont think it was slanted towards us.  They just let us play our type of basketball, and rightfully so, we were the home team

I'm an honest basketball fan, and I'll say this. That inbound call on the first inbound pass attempt, when Daniels grabbed Horford's jersey should have been 2 free throws automatically for the Hawks.

We got a very dirty call, and I have to admit that we did, because if it turned out the other way, I would definitely be complaining about it, but I would've also thought we didn't the courtesy considering we were suppose to have the game all locked up in the final minutes, and we made the game unnecessarily difficult for ourselves.

I also thought there were some plays where the Hawks were clearly fouled, but didn't get to the foul line, but in fairness to that piece of honesty, Hollins was mugged on 2 inside plays, and nothing was called. People better give Hollins his props now, because I think he quietly saved this game for us about as much as KG did. He had big offensive rebounds, he had big tap backs to keep the ball alive. He played solid defense to make it very difficult for the Hawks players out there. If Hollins is not out on the floor late in this game, the Hawks when we were struggling to score the ball, actually get some points, and it's likely enough to steal tonight's win.

KG tonight man, what a pro. What a [dang] pro.
