Basically, we have no reason to be mad at that quarter. Yea, I would've liked if we finished out the quarter with a double digit lead, but I'll sure as hell take the 6 point lead.

love the game we playin so far

worried bout avery tho

Me too. He absolutely blew a rotation which almost cost us dearly and his shot is way off. He's hustling on defense though. Ray was pretty much giving us nothing, so we have no choice but to have Avery out there.

Dear Doc,

No more Dooling/Hollins combo.

Thanks,
Chief
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

We will win or lose by Rondo and what he does in the next half....

Not much of a production from AB or Ray. I'm sure they will make some shots in the second half, though.
As decent as the defense has been, there were missed rotations here and there. Hawks didn't exploit those weaknesses, but you can't count on their poor offense and sharpen your own game.

Wow Barkley saying he isn't even worried about Boston winning this game -- hope he is right!

Smith and Johnson hit huge shots late in the 2nd half as they kept Atlanta from being down big.

Need Ray to hit some shots in the 3rd quarter.

Even after a dominant 2nd quarter the C's are only up 6.  Cannot come out in the 3rd like they did in Game 5

  • Another undersized Celtic...
I expect a big 3rd quarter. Time for Ray to heat up.

And also, we need to put some clamps a bit on Marvin Williams. We can't have that guy knocking down too many [dang] three pointers for them. Look at the games they've won; that guy does too much in some of those wins, especially the last one.

Basically, we gotta push up on him a bit to let him know we're there. And Heinrich is doing a bit more penetrating than I like to see, but the alarming thing is that it's working a bit. Well, mostly against Ray, but we gotta clamp down on that. If Ray's threes were dropping, too, the Hawks would be in an even worse way right about now. Ray is important in how tired he keeps guys from the other team. Also, I gotta say, Pietrus hasn't been doing too much offensively in this series, but has mostly been pretty solid defensively, but that putback I feel did something to the game. Hard to explain it. It gave the team an energy boost, and the crowd as well.

Yes! Perhaps with Ray hitting some killer 3's off of Rondo's attack.
Go Celtics!!

We need Ray to get going from midrange so he can see the ball go in, then in the fourth he can rain some 3s on their head
