As dissapointing as our loss was, we still could've won that game...after the beatdown Sunday I was almost expecting a letdown. The c's never came out with that intensity.

But coseout games are the hardest in any sport....the lakers and 76rs weren't able to close their series either..and boston is like 2-9 in closeout game 5's...so lets go back to boston, come out with an edge and close this series out.

We are a better team than the hawks. We just have to play like it for 48minutes.

I expect it.

Past playoffs with the Hawks has shown they can (usually do) beat the Celtics in Atlanta.

In Boston, they usually get their doors blown off by the end.

Yeah, we should have pulled it out last night, team should come out with a more consistent defensive effort on closing out 3s and win it.

My main worry is that Pierce isn't more effective Thursday.

Early on, the Hawks were ready to start summer vacation, but credit to the home crowd as they emplored ATL to keep plugging away.

I was actually a little suprised that the crowd held back on booing Josh Smith, who looked like he was single handedly trying to put the Celtics into the second round in the first quarter.  Man he really has a Jekyll and Hyde game.

I'll be on craigslist all day to make sure i get into game 6. THey won't survive the garden.
