That is exactly what I'm talking about with Rondo. GREAT half of basketball by Rondo.
Rondo had a great half but the way he plays off Pargo and teague and allows them wide open threes and the ability to go by him drives me nuts. He's as good a defender as Bradley and I wish he would play that way.
On the other hand if he did maybe he would be to tired to be the floor general on the other end that we need him to be.
With all due respect, their stats don't support what you're saying, especially Teague's. Besides, I'll take Pargo and Teague having to take jump shots all day to score, but their stats don't support that they're both making open shots and getting to the hoop.
Then stop looking at the stats and watch the game. Teague had multiple wide open threes that he missed.
Pargo made two wide open threes and blew by Rondo for a layup because Rondo was sitting back so much.
Rondo has been wandering off his player all series and is still doing it tonight.
He's played unbelievably but this is still happening and it irks me. And I'm a huge Rondo hack. Love the guy.
