I dont care about the regular season, if we counted the regular season, both of these two would STILL be the best two PG in the NBA. WITHOUT QUESTION.

But in the playoffs...if you have watched the playoffs, every game of the playoffs like I have, you would see that Chris Paul and Rondo are by far the best point guards in the NBA. The best. The discussion is over. In the playoffs you want either of these two as your point guard.

And im happy we have one of them.

How is Derrick Rose still on any lists? He has a torn ACL and has been injured all season, he is not longer a top 5 PG. Heck, he cant even play a game right now and he wont be back to D-Rose ever again after that ACL injury.

Torn ACL Rose better then Rondo lol? Rondo must be pretty bad if someone on one leg who cant play in the NBA currently is better than him.

Wait, so a guy gets hurt and can't play so that means he loses his "top 5 pg status"

Yes, it does. The same way KG lost his "top 5 status" when he got injued, when players come back they arent the same, and Rose relied almost exclusively on his athleticism, he wont be the same after an ACL injury for years to come.

Also, availability is a talent, if Rose cant play, hes not better the me or you on the sideline.

How is Derrick Rose still on any lists? He has a torn ACL and has been injured all season, he is not longer a top 5 PG. Heck, he cant even play a game right now and he wont be back to D-Rose ever again after that ACL injury.

Derrick Rose 23yrs old is freak of nature. He can very well comeback better than ever. Until its proven otherwise, he solidified his spot as top player in the NBA.

Right now this minute would you trade Rondo for a torn ACL Rose?

What player has ever came back from an ACL injury and been top 5 at their position? Rose can work his way back to top 5 status, but an ACL tear is a career altering injury, he is no longer going to play like a top 5 point guard for at least the next 2 years.

Bulls organization aren't crazy enough to trade the reigning MVP. So the question is moot.

Chris Paul is good, and only shades of play make him a little better than Rajon, and that's at rare occasions.

Rose has a giant ego and would much rather score on a layup that looks super hard to accomplish, than to pass the ball. And honestly, he hasn't been much a factor this season. The Bulls are fine without him, and every time he returns from one of his injuries he shoots bricks.

Deron is good, but c'mon.. Even I could play like that on a Nets team that is pathetic as this one..
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

But would you? Would you rather have a torn ACL career question mark Rose on the sideline or Rondo playing right now?

You seem to think that Rose with a torn ACL is better then Rondo.

Rose will be lucky if hes a top 10 point guard next season, it takes years to get over an ACL injury and he will be effected by it more then most.

A Knee injury isn't the end of the world. CP3 came back from a sever knee injury.

I think it def does mean you lose the status.  Injuries are huge.  Rose may very well get back to great playing shape, but this year he certainly wasn't around enough to impact the season much.  And there is always a chance that you loose a bit of quickness and explosiveness when you come back.  It has happened over and over again to all pro athletes.
