  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I'm guessing he misses the next 2-3 games.

He'll probably be fine, depends if they hurt it whilst trying to put it back in. He's had it before. Some guys can pop em back in and keep playing no problem , I'd say he's done that too at least once.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Ugh, a dislocation.  Sounds like he's had several.  From experience, I can say that when the shoulder pops out and goes right back in, it's not so bad.  Usually you're sore for a few hours, maybe a day.  The more it comes out, the more the long-term pain goes away (because your connective tissue isn't tearing as much).  However, when the shoulder doesn't pop back in, that's when the real pain and structural damage occurs.

Hopefully he gets surgery on it early this off-season.  It's a quick surgery that can be done arthroscopically, and the recovery time is only about 6 weeks.  I went from dislocating my shoulder about 2 to 3 times per month, to only have one very minor separation in the last 4 years.

It wouldn't shock me if he's able to play in Game 4, but I could also seeing him being out a week or so.

"It's really sore," Bradley told CSNNE.com after the game. "Every time I go to extend my arm, and it gets hit, it comes in and out."
This is not the first time Bradley has had a shoulder injury this season.

Bradley suffered a similar injury at Charlotte on Feb. 7, and it sidelined him in Boston's 88-87 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 9.

"He's had that problem all year," said C's coach Doc Rivers. "Usually they're able to, like a leg, snap it back in. It wouldn't go back in."

Bradley will be undergo further evaluation on Saturday. He told CSNNE.com that he did not have any tests such as X-Rays or MRI's performed on it following Friday's win.

When asked whether he expected to play in Game 4 on Sunday, Bradley said, "of course. As of now, yeah."

Gotta love the kid's attitude.

Hey, I'm just hurt. I'm not injured. I'm playing.

The more you hear about this kid and the more you see him play, the more you gotta love him.

Yeah, man I have been completely converted to being a Avery fan.  That kid is tough as nails.  The block against JJ.  The never give up on the play D just wins me over every time.  I hope he can gut it out through the rest of the playoffs.

Didn't Perkins have this same problem: a shoulder that would periodically pop out of its socket?

I hope his hand is fine. I really do. They can't win a championship without this kid. He has been way too vital. He brings way too much to the team.

No wonder Perk's your guy--seems he had the same experience and improvement.

I agree.  He's been a huge shot in the arm for this team, but he's also really easy to root for - by all accounts he's an excellent, thoughtful young man, and the league needs more players who go 100% on every possession like he does.

Shoulder dislocation means some swelling and soreness. I think you can all calm down.

Didn't he refuse the surgery and played through it all season? And that was much different.

Wade actually hyper-extended at the shoulder. Bradley just popped it out of place. And it's been stated numerous times that he has had it happen frequently this season. Tonight they just had problems popping it back in.
