He's almost exactly the same player as he was his rookie year (except he takes a more jump shots now), that's a serious problem.

I think I watched 3 or 4 Kings games on NBATV or other national games.

Overall he looked like he just hasn't added much to his game, which is really concerning because you'd think his second healthy year he'd be ready to make some sort of leap.

Of course the Kings keep moving his position around, and well they're the Kings. I should give Evans more benefit of the doubt.(PG as a rookie, SG last year, and a split at SG/SF this year)

Since the Kings said they won't sign him to an extension and are exploring options what would you give up for him for next year? Both 1sts? One First? Would Sacto even do that? Probably not.

Kid is a gifted defensive player. That will help in tremendously when feeling pressure.  Im thinking his defense tonight (along with the teams defense) will create his offense tonight with some easy buckets

I hope he doesn't feel any pressure.

As long as he's doing his best, he'll be ok.

From what I've seen of him so far the kid hussles and doesn't take any plays off.

The shooting will come...even with that, he's had stretches where he shoots well.

He'll probably never be Ray, but IMO the kid's ceiling is rather high as far as potential.

As long as he doesn't expect himself to be Joe Dumars (YET), he will be fine.

Just PLAY...as long as he's not loafing around out there, he will be fine and continue to help this team.

I hope he's spectacular but I'll be satisfied with a steady postseason from him. He's grown so much as a player in the regular season but it's the playoffs now and he might need some games to get comfortable.

Bradley is playing within his limits, its his first postseason, its the rest of the team im worried about, they clearly didnt come to play in the first game of the playoffs which I dont understand.

Yes, they pretty much messed up with the rotations. Evans can't play at SF. He is a strong guard, but not that far. Playing him at SG could make sense, but I doubt Kings would allow him to play at that spot. They love Marcus Thornton for the purpose of jacking up numerous shots to score, after all.

Pressure is a good thing. He knows what's at stake. If he is going to be part of our future, this will only help him. Would be awesome if he comes out with another great defensive game.

Pressure? What pressure?  All he has to do is be the primary distributor on defense, space the floor so that Paul isn't continually doubled, hit his shots at a high rate, stop the super quick Teague from penetrating yet run him off the 3 point line, and prevent Joe Johnson from scoring on him after posting him up down low.

Rookies struggle in playoffs and for the first time Avery's getting coaches targeting him directly in their game plans.  Tonight the Hawks are going to pressure him bringing up the ball.  I expect he'll struggle in the playoffs just as Rondo did in 2008.  Only the truly elite (Russell, MJ, Bird, Magic, etc) seem immune to growing pains.

This is exactly what Thorpe is talking about.  You put a talented and athletic kid in the right system and they will thrive.  Not a cut and dry 100% thing, but they def have a better chance.  Does anybody think that possibly if Tyreke and DeMarcus Cousins were with the Thunder they would be better players?  I don't think there is really any doubt they would be.  

Do the Kings just always draft poor players? The development process is definitely important.  Look at what the Spurs do with their "middling" talent.  They grab people like Tony Parker and Ginobili from relative obscurity and turn them into hall of famers.  Look at Gary Neal, Stephen Jackson, Bruce Bowen, Matt Bonner, DeJuan Blair.  The Spurs have had relatively "little" to work with but still turned out effective players.  There's no doubt in my mind they would have been a better learning ground than Golden State or Sacramento or the Clippers or what have you.  Just imagine how scary it would be if they didnt have to grab everybody elses leftovers.  And got to work with the elite of the elite talent from the beginning?

Its not only about drafting sure fire blue chippers...What you do with that talent is critical as well.

From season to season they have seemed to want to take the ball out of his hands more. Last year Cousins stole some possessions and this year Thomas and Jimmer did too. He just isn't that good unless he dominates the ball. He is the weight room version of Iverson lol.
