So [dang] proud of these guys tonight. I knew they could do it.

I'd hate for anyone to be hurt. I hope Josh is alright. Might sound weird coming from a Celtic fan, but I really like the guy a lot.

Didn't Garnett have this injury before and was out a week or so?

When it wants to this team plays championship level defense.  Lets hope they can put enough talent on the floor to beat a Miami or whoever comes out of the West.

Honestly don't think Pierce has received enough credit for being one of the all time great Celtics.  The way he adjusts his game to fit whatever the team needs at a given moment...totally under appreciated in my mind.  He's taken some knocks over the years, but he's one of the best who's ever worn the uniform.

It was a blast watching him will this team to a huge win tonight.

KG's older and has knee issues (well, one knee issue from 2009 that probably effects him to this day), so not surprising he missed time. It all depends on how severe the sprain is re: Smith's status moving forward. This is an injury that he kind of can't play on until its healed enough, because there is no way a basketball player, let alone one that relies on athleticism as much as Smith does, can play with a sprained knee.

My daughter has a stomach bug and I got poop all over my favourite C's t-shirt a while ago .. surely that's good luck, isn't it?  :P

... and now I have to get poop on every C's T I own for the rest of the playoffs to appease the basketball gods ..  :o
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

This game isn't unlike the end of regular season loss we had against Atlanta.  Great job by our team.  Everyone is buying into Doc (or KG's) system.  Hollins was out there boxing out and doing his job.  Marquis has been a no show pretty much all season and he is out there giving us good minutes, Sasha is playing hard defense and attacking the basket and spreading floor.  These are backups to our backups but they are playing with more fire than a lot of the Hawks.

Back to Boston, hopefully health for ray & greg.  We need better minutes out of bass, rondo on the floor and paul to play better than game 1....game 2 he looked pretty good  :o

The injury (Smith) might not stop him from playin, which I seriously doubt.  But, he probally can't play at peak level, if nothing else he'll be thinking about not making it worse , which probally upset his shot and rebounding .

I remember , one of the first times I think Bradley played on an NBA court and it was against Atlanta.  He came in , and in like 2 seconds after his first touch , Teague picked his pocket and raced away for a breakaway dunk.  Bradley looked so deflated , and dejected.  Me too for that matter.

I want to see Bradley have a PAY BACK type game and go off on Teague.

What an awesome team effort.

2 of the top 6 rotational players not playing so Doc goes 10 deep in this game and the C's win by 7 on the road.

Pierce...HUGE!!!
Garnett...GREAT!!
Does anyone realize that Bradley had 3 steals, 3 blocks, 3 assists and 14 points and made Teague take 18 shots to get 18 points.
Dooling with 2 huge threes
Pietrus', Pavlovic's and Daniels' defense was awesome
Hollins, Stiemsma, and Bass all had good positive games.

YOU CAN'T COUNT THIS TEAM OUT OF ANYTHING!!!!!!!!

Bass did not have a good game, he has to give us more or we will continue to get behind in these games.  He has to score in the post!!

Dooling had his best game as a Celtic.

And I cannot believe that Marquise Daniels, probably the 9th or 10th player on the depth chart, played most of the 4th quarter in the most important moments of the season.

Just a testament to the professionalism of all the players on the team (Etwaun and JJJ - take notes.)

And a huge credit to the completely unappreciated Doc Rivers, who got shafted by his colleagues in CotY voting.

Ivan Johnson is quite possibly the worst basketball player in the playoffs.

That's why they call him Ivan "The Terrible."

Cosign. And Truth be told, it is Celtics fans that are often harder on him in this respect than other fans. Yes, pun intended. :)

Great game, Captain, Great game.
Celtics fan for life.
