TP & yes they absolutley do.

The thing that stands out blatantly is it's Marc Davis who's makeing all the calls. And some of them are so clearly wrong that i'd love to find out the line on this game in Vegas.

I made it half way through.  A bunch of crap calls.  Perfect examples of a totally broken system.  Possibly corrupt.  At best, complete incompetence.

The Stern continues to stand by this kind of officiating should cost him his job - or at least a suspension ;D

saw this posted on realgm

His wife says it is a lifelong dream of Marc's to be an NBA official but what does he love about it so much? Maybe being a nothing and having this momentary power over these big stars. If you google Marc Davis you'll find he's been in the middle of controversy with Allen Iverson and also in other playoff games. I would love it if someone with know how would start a website to highlight and aggregate bad calls with the intent of putting pressure on the league to get rid of bad apples like Marc Davis.

Pretty funny (in a bad way) how a tiny bump could earn Rondo a 1-game suspension but Bynum's thug foul on Barea last season earned him only a 5-game suspension (which was later reduced to 4), and Artest's clearly malicious and deliberate elbow got him only a 7-game penalty.

That's not from last night.  Is it the same ref?

I personally try not to get too worked up about refs.  I honestly don't care.  It goes both ways.  I've seen some bad calls go against the Celtics and I've seen the Celtics get away with murder.  It is what it is.  For every horrible call against Boston you can find one that helped us.

How about constant stoppage?  I urge you to go back and painfully re-watch the first 3 games of the last Lakers Celtics finals.  We lost 2 and won 1.  Go look at the number of stoppages and tell if you think that's a watchable brand of basketball.  If you think it is we have different views of what the sport is supposed to look like.

You don't watch many Celtics games, do you?
