Just watched Rose get injured yet again with the game long decided.

With his injury history this season...I have no idea why he's playing at all against Philly.

They don't need him.

They obviously want him to get into a rythm before round 2. But that injury looked really bad.

Ive said it all season, Rose body wont hold up in the playoffs, he has had multiple injuries all year, his body is overcompensating for his injuries, and what do you know? Rose gets injured in just the first game of the plays with yet ANOTHER injury.

His body wont hold up and its already breaking down.

Why is this even a question?

I guess he shouldn't practice ever because he could get injured there too

Rose does play like an idiot kinda though. Why is he attacking the the basket bullying his way through when they are up like that.

One of the underrated things that Rondo does is playing when he is banged up. Doesn't overexert himself, plays within his injury

When the team is already up 20? That's too much.

This is what I respect about Rondo, he plays within himself and knows what his body can handle, Rose plays out of control, doing insane acrobatics when the game was already in hand....Rondo would just pass the ball or shoot a jumper, he knows what his body can and cant handle.

He's out there because this wonderful team game has been corrupted by David Stern's marketing machine into an individualistic mess where fans obsess over meaningless nonsense like triple-doubles.

Now, the Bulls might be about to pay the ultimate price for the corruption of this game.

I don't ever pull for an injury, but it would be good for the pro game if the outcome of these playoffs was significantly changed by an individual statistics-driven injury like this.

Very good.

Laying on the hyperbole a little thick today?

Guess Larry was corrupted too, playing 44 minutes in a complete blowout in the playoffs.

My wife's immediate reaction to the Rose play, "femur got over the knee, looks just like every blown ACL I've seen in person".

Between him and Shumpert this has been a depressing day of basketball.

Apples, meet oranges.

I guess I missed where Bird suffered a serious injury in that game.

Rose had NO business in the game. The triple-double is the most meaningless, overrated contrived statistic in sports.

If we're lucky, maybe someone will finally figure out that a triple-double and a dime won't get you in a pay toilet.

I absolutely HATE what NBA marketing has done to this game.
