they were by fourteen after that Marvin Williams alley oop in the mid first mid-late first quarter. Played them even since then, still not making anything...just get some stops and a couple threes and we are ok

It's not surprising that those that have been riding Avery's band wagon over the past month have quickly turned on him lol. Wow, it don't take long in this forum!  ::) Also, what happened to all those that was lauding "the steal" of Brandon Bass? One bad half makes him extinct as well huh? Reading these posts are hilarious!

I said a week ago that people were going overboard on Bradley and we have to see what he can do in the playoffs and I got slammed. People kept calling him the next Derrick Rose/Westbrook. Not even close imo

Bradley and Rondo are the only reason we arent down 30. Everyone else on the team didnt come to play tonight. Bradley is the least of our worries.

Stop with the Ray Allen crying.

In 2008 when Allen was still in his prime he was a complete no show for 2 straight playoff series including the Hawks, so stop.

agreed. Ray is not the difference tonight. Our vets (except Rondo) coming out with the wrong mindset is the difference so far.

We done sat ourselves out of game shape the last week.

But I still believe!!!

Here comes a new attitude!!!
The Celtics aren't quitters. Why should you be? - blind homer

You know what? Rondo is our leading scorer right now.
Which means everyone else was pathetic.

This game has L written all over it...the players are playin uptight and overconfident..they didn't realize the Hawks did not come to be pushed around. This game is a wakeup call.

Awful putrid Offense all over and for those who says Ray will save this game.. He won't.. RAY himself goes on ashooting slump after having a week or so off so ray ain't helpin. >:(

I still don't think we can turn it around enough to win this one, however I do think they will come out harder in game 2 because of it.
If we pull off a win tonight, I wouldnt care much about game 2 tbh...
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."- Paul Pierce

And he did finish...

this is not coming down to Sasha, Bradley, or Bass. If KG and Pierce don't play like all-stars we lose the series.

Rondo Bradley and Steamer are our best players tonight. Our vets will pick it up in the 2nd half.

Alongside Rondo, he was possibly the only positive note.
