Celtics had these punks on the ropes. I wish they knocked them out.

Scalabrine: 1
Lebron: 1

At some point, Russell only had one ring.

Kind of a pointless comparison unless you are trying to show that Lebron has as many rings as the current Celtics team.

From their comments, I have never seen a team that so absolutely believed they were owed the championship. They reek with arrogance. I can't wait to see them get knocked off next year.

I'm trying not to be bitter but it does feel like a bought championship.

It's about [dang] time? Why is that?

No.  Salary cap.

Bill Russel just handed an award to LeBron. Somebody please hit me with a shovel.
Yeah, Bill's had a tough go handing out the awards ever since they named the MVP after him.  Handing it to Kobe twice (barf,) and now Lebron.

Ok, honest question. When he went to Miami, Lebron changed his number from 23 to 6 out of "respect for the game". Do you think the irony hit him when Bill Russell handed him the Finals MVP-- or Bill Russell-- trophy or does Dr. J have to hit him over the head with the Larry O'Brien Trophy?

There's a guy who deserves a ring, walking through the tunnel hugging his mom.

No he doesn't Durant is a great player, but he didn't step up when his team needed him. He let that punk Westbrook shoot them out of the series.

This is why I don't like them. The refs and NBA feed into this by giving them a vast majority of calls in their favor.

Say what you want, but Bird would have smacked Westbrook around and put him in line. Heck, so would Kobe and MJ.

I would never, ever, trade Rondo for that mini sized ball hog Iverson wanna be

Agreed. I tried to like them tonight for what they accomplished, but [dang], they made it hard when they opened their mouths and when I saw the looks on their faces during the celebration, like they all were thinking "we basically won this last year, give us 2 [dang] trophies tonight".

I am happy for Howard and Battier, and maybe even Miller...Ever one else not so much.

Gatorade dump on coach? Really? Didni't even compare to PP on Docs.

Bostons had soooo much more emotion, those players should have been saying its about dang time.

Oh and I wonder how Lebrons son is going to feel when he hears that this was the best day of his life.

okay the last one was a bit on the petty side, but Im just not over the season yet.

Oh and now a commercial about Lebrons journey to the ring....Nope wasn't fixed at all...Maybe it wasn't, I just feel better thinking it was.

The attitude is really surprising considering how long it has taken them (other then Wade) to get a ring. They are not entitled to anything. I keep thinking of the not 1, not 2, not 3 comments during 'the decision' Championships are not easy to get. Have some respect for the game!

I think the better comparison is Peyton Manning and his one whole ring. Now let's see if he can get to Eli Manning land
