WOW.
So after looking at the replays this morning, here is what I (IMO)think what happened over the last few days with this Indy-MIA series:
You have Batman (Lebron) complaining about Lance Stephenson's "choking" sign, and then Danny Granger getting up in his grill over the last few games - not backing down.
You then have Robin (DWade) backing up Lebron and agreeing with him "There's no place in the game for it", says Lebron.
Enter last night's game. Things are at a breaking point. You have the hard foul that I believe Tyler laid on one of the Heat players, and NOW the Heat's "Plan B" comes into play.
This "Plan B", IMO, is SOMEONE on the Heat's roster basically encouraging Haslem and then Dexter Pittman to go "over the top" and try to "take out" one or two of their players. Here is where I am guessing Juwan Howard, perhaps, encouraging the over-the-top plays by Haslem and Pittman.
I am guessing Juwan here, because he was the player that waltzed over to the Indy sideline during pregame shootaround in Indy prior to Game 4. He was the one who spoke to Lance Stephenson.
Again - just speculation. I'd certainly hope that Lebron or DWade wouldn't encourage anyone on their team to physically hurt someone over "Lance Stephenson's choke sign or Danny Granger's not backing down from Lebron.
But I'd love to be a fly on the wall around the Heat players and actually HEAR what happened here.
Someone from the Heat needs to be punished, plain and simple. My choices would be Haslem for one game and just toss Pittman for the rest of the series.
Lebron - this is YOUR team, now. I hope he isn't encouraging his team to take hits out on opposing players.
Could BOS be next?
