Looks like the ref's stopped reffing the game.

The clippers are pretty embarrassing they have absolutely zero d.

That flagrant foul on griffin was such a joke call. The NBA is so embarrassing most of time.

Speaking of Griffin he is pretty pathetic. How serious is this "injury" of his? He just seems absolutely terrified to be playing in the playoffs. I can't believe this guy is an all-star let alone a supposed stud? I actually feel bad for him

Eh, that's too harsh IMO.  He's a second-year player asked to be the second scoring option on his team.  It's clear that he just isn't refined enough to take his game to the next level in the playoffs.  Honestly, it's amazing that he's been as good as he's been based on athleticism alone.

He'll get better.  Just give him some time.

So jealous of the Spurs depth
We have depth, we just don't use it  ;)

Steve Blake and his wife getting the LA Laker fan feedback experience:

http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/7943732/steve-blake-los-angeles-lakers-wife-receive-threats-twitter

What a bunch of scumbags. I hate the Lakers with a passion but you should NEVER cross the line of involving players' family members - and this is their own fans doing it! ::)

Sweep them aside on their own floor OKC. They sorely deserve it.

Yeah i'm not reading into that at all. It's like the Joel Ward thing with the Caps. Those aren't laker fans those are just bad people

The sickening and disgusting abuse of Joel Ward was coming from an opposing team's fans. This abuse of Steve Blake and his family is coming from his own team's fans.

They are clearly Laker fans AND bad people.

I cant believe they landed a player as good as Diaw to add to their already great team. Just pure luck.

Harden with three quick non-existent fouls... a minute and a half when he blocks Kobe twice. The refs are taking out the Thunder's charge. He basically led them to their second quarter lead. LA has the refs.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

Great block from behind by Thabo Sefolosha to deny Kobe Bryant in transition.

Lakers in danger of being swept twice in straight years? Take out Harden. Kobe stinking up the joint and in danger of looking like a fool? Let him plow into Harden and grab him on separate plays for a couple extra trips to the line.

Sometimes this league depresses me. If you're going to reward a superstar for earning nothing, at least give it to a non rapist/non diva/non hero ball chucker hiding behind the guise of team play. If not, don't call it basketball. Call it Kobe and Friends.

WHy in the hell was Derek Fisher guarding Kobe Bryant a bit down the stretch there?

it seemed to get him going that was just dumb.

Right? I know they need clutch plays so Thabo was on the bench, but literally anyone else would've been a better option than Fish.

Is it just me or the NBA/officials try really hard to extend the playoff series.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the refs are the reason Celtics lost game 4.

But still, refs kept Philly within a striking distance with a large amount of weak calls and awarding Philly with numerous free throws.

Lakers, down 2-0, shot 42 free throws in game 3!!
They shot only 38% from the field and still managed to score 99 points and win game 3. They were 11/33 in the second half but no problem. They made 26 free throws.

I am going to call it. Miami is going to have a wind in their back vs Pacers in game 4. We can expect free throw fest for the Heat plus early foul trouble for Indiana starters.

I really hope I am wrong.  /rant

It's bad enough teams have to play every other day in the playoffs after a condensed season... teams are trying to win series early to get rest! Yet they won't be allowed to. David Stern is the sole reason for all these injuries that have been happening.

agreed. more games more money. if it was up to stern, every series would go 7 games. Unfortunately for him, some teams (like the spurs) are too good to crack even with calls against them.

Stern cares more about money and ratings than player well-being, just the way it is in his business mind.

Will the Lakers be Oklahoma's toughest challenge in the playoffs?

The last two games have been very tough for them. If this keeps up, it'll be difficult for anyone to push them harder than LA is currently doing.

I think whoever comes out of that LA/OKC series will be a big favorite to take it all

SA is playing good but look who they've played Utah and a banged up Clipper team, out east everybody is just all beat up with injury and can't even crack 100 points
