The best matchup for us in my opinion would be - well obviously the Clippers but that ain't happening - the Spurs.

La's size hurts us and OKC's athleticism and talent is really tough for us.

The Lakers just blew that one. Really bad shot selection, especially from the rapist...er...the Kobester. Ironically, the one good shot they took in the last 2 minutes was Blake's open 3 at the end. I'd like to see every series be a slugfest except ours. I don't care how they played tonight, our guys need some rest. If we can manage to keep the energy level up for the rest of this series, hopefully we can win it and have a little time off.

We can beat the Spurs. And we will.

The Spurs depth is pretty scary though

Well they ripped out their own hearts really, awful choke job by the Lakers in the last two minutes.

Kobe had those two awful turnovers (one was technically Blake's but was Kobe's fault) and then they took and missed a ton of bad shots.

Still OKC is lucky, Westbrook with the bone-head move leaving Blake wide open like that. Completely unacceptable in a late game situation like that, just lost his man while watching the rest of the action.

I look at OKC and Serge, and I honestly think that by the time Perk is done grooming him, Serge will closely resemble KG.

I really believe that.

Of course there will NEVER be another Kevin Garnett, but how many 6'10" 235 pound PFs out there have THAT kind of athleticism and defensive instinct?

OKC knew what they were doing when they got Perk. Groom him, Big Fella! Just like KG groomed you.

My only concern with him is does his shot blocking instinct ever become an overall defensive awareness for him.

You make a good point...I think it will. That is why Perk is there.

I think that over the next few years, as Ibaka matures, he will learn the intricacies of Defense from Kendrick Perkins...positioning, timing, communicating, keeping the ball in play.

I've watched KG over the years..even moreso in BOS, and there have been times when KG hasn't even blocked a shot during a game and he STILL dominated defensively.

He will get there over the next few years.

He already has a good mid-range J. It is a pity to some degree that he is like the 4th or 5th option on offense. I'd like to see him develop some dribble and drive moves like KG used to do when he was younger.

Wow..gonna be really tuff for LA to make a come back. LA seems to struggle without homecourt.  I think the hole is already to deep and OKC to young and Athletic .  LA doesn't have the energy to make the comeback and finish OKC off away.  LA will be flat worn out if they get by OKC and will be destroyed by the Spurs.

OKC vs Spurs will be epic.
