Anyone surprised by this game?  The Lakers have two of the top 5 big men in the game... and they are both legit 7 footers.  Blame coaching for the fact this series didn't end sooner.  Tonight they leaned on their major advantage (size) and it paid off.

Gasol:  23 points, 17 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 blocks and a steal.

Bynum: 16 points, 18 rebounds, 6 blocks and a steal.

If they continue to ride those guys they will win the title.  If they don't win... the blame rests entirely with Kobe and Mike Brown.

Lakers arent winning the title, they are even worse then last year, they will get demolished by OKC in the second round just like they got demolished by Dallas last year.

OKC and the Spurs are both much better teams then the Lakers.

the way I see it, its either OKC or the Spurs coming out of the west. I just dont see anyone who can bring them down, but if the grizz wins tomorrow night ill keep an eye out for last year's spurs killers.

In the east I have a bad feeling it'll end up being the heat (which ill hate, hope we top them if it comes to it), but I think itll come down to miami, celtics (hopefully), or the pacers. I don't doubt that we'll finish the sixers this series.

lakers have no shot...

Oh well, at least we won the first game of our series tonight.

No complaints here!

Why does Evan Turner sound like he's gargling marbles?

Now the Nuggets fans know how we felt after that game seven in 2010.  When those two are aggressive inside they are really, really tough.

The problem for them, though, is that they are not always aggressive.  Bynum and Pau, as impressive as they are, are both kind of babies.  You've got to figure out how to frustrate them. It can be done.

I don't agree about the coaching. Their play tonight had nothing to do with doing anything radically different from a game plan perspective.  Those two got the message, showed up big, and stopped their incessant whingeing.

Another thought about the big Hollins vs. Stiemsma debate:  If all goes miraculously well, giving both those guys some minutes right now and getting them to feel like a part of the mix, could turn out to be one of the most brilliant coaching moves for Doc this season.

If (and I know it's a huge if) the Celtics and the Lakers end up meeting in the finals, Ryan Hollins' size, strength, and athleticism could end up being really helpful.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Is someone watching Memphis - LA game?

I never thought I would say this, but Del Negro outcoached Lionel Collins. It's kind of sad.

A fairly lousy game. Neither team is executing.

Both teams playing their hearts out. Lots of hustle. But no poise, not using their heads.

Next round instead of going up against McGee and Mozgov though it'll be Perkins/Ibaka/Collison and instead of Lawson Westbrook etc still got OKC beating them

Yeah, I am very confident in OKC taking that series too.

I am not a fan of either team but I can't believe how Grizzlies lost this game.

Clippers have some of the worst FT shooters in the league but Grizzlies didn't even try to hack-a-Evans or hack-a-Jordan?

Nick Young was guarding Gay the whole 4th quarter but Grizzles refused to attack him? Gay had 1 FGA in that period?

Not to mention Collins and his rotations.

The good thing is that Spurs match up better vs Clippers.

pacers playing the heat pretty good so far IMO...theyve left up a few bunnies, but holding them to alot of jumpers.

Miami looks confused by teams who move the ball
