Theres no way an old team like the Lakers would purposely lose games to get MWP back. Ron Artest isnt jordan, heck he isnt even Ron Artest, hes a veterans minimum role player at this point in his career and the Thunder would destroy the lakers with or without artest.

Lakers just arent good enough to win in Denver, remember this is the same Laker team that got swept last year, they arent contenders.
the thing is MWP serves as LA's thug.  If the Thunder looks like they're gaining the upper hand on LA, don't be surprised to see MWP try to intimidate Harden or Durant with another 'accidental' cheapshot.  LA will try to get into OKC's heads and MWP will play a big part in that.
When is Artest due back? Will he be back for the start of the second round?
He is out two more games.
Thanks ... so Artest should miss the first game of the second round assuming they close-out Denver at home in the next game. Not too bad for LA. Could have been worse.

Artest should be sitting at home for life.

Speights just can't guard Griffin one bit.

This game could get out of hand quickly, officials are likely going to tighten up the play now....

Clips just holding Memphis at arms' length for the first 3 quarters. Hope the Grizz can get up in the last quarter.

Clippers so dangerous in the fourth quarter in close games.

Chris Paul does such a terrific job of protecting the ball (avoid turnovers) and ensuring the team gets a quality shot (good to high percentage shot attempt) over the final 8-9 minutes of a game.

Well they just coughed up their lead. The clippers need the buckle down and get this game if they won't the series.

I hate the Clippers. They have run their team so badly and for so long. They deserve no success. Cheering hard for Memphis in this series. Love to see LAC lose in the first round.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
I'm loving the K Mart-Reggie Evans tandem for the Clips.  What a pain to deal with off the bench, especially for weeks at a time.

Wow that's harsh. They haven't really ran the organization badly, just alot of injuries and bad luck. To say that they never deserve success is pretty rough.

Double digit lead for the Clippers. Hard to see them dropping this one.

Memphis seem to have left Tony Allen on the bench for the whole 4th quarter again? ::)

Edit- Just as I post that they bring him on!

When Sterling goes ... they can have some success. Not before then (I hope).
