Knicks are a terrible basketball team.

All I heard this year was "Knicks are going to win the east, Knicks are contenders" and they get swept out of the first round for the 2nd year in a row.

All that was just hype by knick fans and new york reporters really... They weren't significantly better than last year. The addition of chandler was a good one but overall they were just hyped to the max.

Thank You. They were hyped to the max before the season started and people were calling them contenders saying they were gonna be a dangerous team and make a playoff run this year. I never believed it and knew they weren't going anywhere this season.
I did think they would at least take them to 5 or 6, but I don't even see that happening.

I think the injuries and the coaching change caused a huge level of disruption for the Knicks this season. Especially with their problems of bringing Lin, Melo, Amare and Tyson together. Just not enough time to turn them into a cohesive unit.

I think they'll do better next year once Woodson has some time to develop them as a unit.

Yea, the weird thing about that team was it worked the opposite of how people expected it would.

The less stars they had in their starting lineup, the better their team was.

They just cant get that teams lineup to work.

Lin + Chandler + Melo + Amare just doesent work. One or two of those players are going to have to be traded.

I think Amare is the one thats going to have to go, and they are going to give Melo another season and see how he can gel with Lin.

Spot on. They are in dire need of a coach like Doc Rivers.

They are one of the most talented and deep teams in the leauge, but they are missing the Coach that can get their lineup to work.

I'd love to see Oklahoma post up Perk against Brandan Wright.

Perk isn't much of a post player but he does well against undersized bigs. There is no way skinny little Brandan Wright can check Perk down on the block.

I think Amare is the one thats going to have to go, and they are going to give Melo another season and see how he can gel with Lin.

I'm sure they would love to trade Amar'e. He has the worst contract in the league though.

They are most likely stuck with what they have the next few years, which isn't going to win title. They aren't a very tough team mainly because of Melo.

Why attack Dirk in the post but not Brandan Wright? Dirk is a much better post defender against the likes of Perkins than Wright is.

And to that when Dallas have gone small with Dirk at center and Marion at PF while Oklahoma have their three main scorers on the floor in a spaced out lineup with only one big man ... such a terrific opportunity to attack the rim.

Wasteful possession and wasted opportunity a few minutes earlier when Wright was in the game.

Not that it matters, Oklahoma are up 15 now.

Perkins is a front line blocker & screener in the OKC offense and his utterly deplorable offensive skill-set means he should be nothing more.

I love the way the clippers-grizz game is being referee'd.

Lots of no-calls and just letting them play hard, tough basketball...The focus is on the game, not the calls, and the players are responding.
