Also, I'm not too worried about the Bradley Joe Johnson matchup. Ray still can't guard Joe anyway. JJ is going to need to score 30 per night just to keep the games competitive.

This year feels so similar to 2010. The C's records are even near identical.

Go Celtics!!
Probably the biggest difference is that 2010 was better on the road than at home for some weird reason.

Yup, and Wallace turned into an excellent weapon on the bench in the post season. Nobody on the Celtics bench comes close to that post season version of Sheed.

Ray Allen if he can come back and replicate his regular season play gives us a bigger impact than Sheed did that year.

Though 2010 team had a fourth big we could use, this team only has 3 which is a huge problem.

If Ray turns to full form even for only 20-25 MPG, he could indeed give a huge spark to the bench. I just don't expect it. However I am very confident in Pietrus and Pavlovic to hold their own at the 2/3.

And yes, as a 4th big, someone unexpected will have to step up for 10+ minutes per night if the C's are going to make a serious run against Chicago and company. Hopefully Hollins or Williams proves worthy while getting some time in against the Hawks.

I think many things when I watch Daniels/Pavlovich play, adequete on offense has never ever been one of them.

I guess ill clarify.

They are smart veterans, good passers, have decent handle, not turnover prone. I think in our system if they are running with our other starters they will keep the ball moving and basically not mess up.

I think they know there roles which is important. Doc seems to trust them at this point as well and has definitely hinted around that they will be getting pt.

Honestly sometimes i wish MP would defer more on offense like sasha and quis instead off jacking up 3's every open look for a low percentage.

I mean if Sasha took 6 3's a game im sure he'd make a couple too

He's can be a chucker at times but that's part of his role on the team. If he gets hot look out.

No I get it im just saying if Sasha took that many 3's it would probably be a similar result.

I mean MP has taken 18 more 2 point shots than Sasha and but a ridiculous 124 more 3's.

This series could either validate or reverse my outlook on bradley. The main reason I don't support him, is his lack of a position. He doesn't have the ball handling/passing to run point, and he doesn't have thr size/strength to guard the 2.

If he can successfully contend with JJ on a consistent basis, I'll start to respect him. Its not impossible, since JJ doesn't have a developed post up game or slash as much as some other elite SGs, but it'll at least show Bradley is able to deal with the size difference he's going to face playing consistently as our SG. That + his shot staying how it's been thr last month will get me on the AB wagon.

So Bradley successfully defending Dwyane Wade doesn't count?
Joe Johnson is a much bigger SG than Wade (Joe Johnson is roughly the same size as Pierce), he's a more difficult match up for Bradley because of the size disadvantage.

But, Joe Johnson is not a shooting guard this season.  He's a small forward.
