  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
The season comes to a close. It's been amazing, but who has excelled expectations? Who has dropped their production? Who is the best point guard in the league right now?

1. Chris Paul
2. Rajon Rondo
3. Steve Nash
4. Russell Westbrook
5. Tony Parker
HM : Derrick Rose , Deron Williams

CP3 is still better than Rondo in my opinion, but I believe other than him, Rondo is the greatest force at point. Nash averaged 12.5 PPG and 10.7 APG while shooting at 53.2%. Westbrook has averaged 24 PPG while playing in all 66 games. D-Will has been more of a chucker on the "Brooklyn" Nets this season, shooting 40.6%. Rose has been injured so long you'd mistake him for Greg Oden. Parker cracks my top 5 because of his impressive 18.3 and 8 while shooting 48% from the field.

I like Marcus Smart

CP3, Rondo, Tony Parker. In that order.

CP3 because he turned a lottery team into a top 4 team in the west even with Billups out for the season.

Rondo, self explanitory.

Parker because hes the best player on the best team in the west.

1.rondo
yes rondo isnt a better shooter/overall scorer than anyone on the list but who in this list can defend/rebound/control a game with 0 points/FLAT OUT PASS THE BALL like or better than rondo? & he does it with so much finess at that too

he kinda is the dwight howard of PG's when you think that dwight dosent really have any offensive game to speak of but still getting better most of his points are becuase a.he's close to the rim & b.just powers his way to the cup

but like dwight rondo dosent really have a scoring move he gets his points off what the defence gives him yet still can dominate the game with his other attributes like said above.
Defence/rebounding/floor leadership/iq.
he's starting to do this on a consitant level which was really his only knock aside from his offenive game
thus i conclude in my honest non biast opinion

rajon rondo is the NBA's best point guard
2.cp3
3.tony Parker
4.russel westbrook
5.rose

This.

I love when I see a PG become a floor general and facilitate the team rather than just iso and chuck up shots.

Bring back the pass first PG in Rondo and Rubio, delicious dimes make a game that much more exciting

For this year:
1.Chris Paul
2.Rajon Rondo
3.Tony Parker
4.Deron Williams
5.Steve Nash

Westbrook is Brian Shaw on massive steroids, he isn't a point guard just an athletic guard.  If I was forced to put him into list it would be #4.  Really great year for Parker, Rose gets no grading due to amount of time he missed but he'd be top 3.  Nice honorable mention for Rubio as well, looked really good prior to injury, hope he can come back full strength nice to see a game like his

Rondo.
Paul.
Rose.
Parker.
Nash.

HM: Deron Williams. Westbrook. Irving. Lowry. Rubio (Would've been the first HM if he didn't get injured).

Rondo's the best PG imo.  He controls the game like no other point guard in the league.  Paul is a VERY close second. The distance between these two is EXTREMELY small.  Rondo gets the edge because he does more on the court than Paul.. Rebounds, defends, runs faster, gets more assists etc. etc.

Rose is only 3rd because he missed a lot of games.. Easily a top 2 pg when healthy..

Parker is 4th because he's re-emerged this year and it's beautiful watching him play.

Nash has to be in the top 5 because he was 2nd in the league in assists on very mediocre team.

Deron Williams.. Great scoring pg.. but only shot 40% this year.

Westbrook is not a pg, but he's an HM because that's the position he plays for OKC and he's a really good scorer. And he's an incredible dunker which is nice to watch.

Last 3 HMs, young pgs who will be stars in the coming years.. Less so for Lowry, but he's had a great season.

Rondo, Paul, Parker, Nash, Williams in no particular order.
Westbrook is a SG and Rose is a combo PG, so they're automatically excluded.
Honorable Mention: Irving. He has great bottle for a young kid.
