I'm happy for the fans in Brooklyn but my heart goes out to the fans in New Jersey. Thank you for supporting the Nets!

If I'm not mistaken, the picture they're using has Derrick Coleman, Kenny Anderson, Kerry Kittles, Otis Birdsong, and Albert King in it.

If that's the best players that the Nets had in the last 35 years, no wonder the franchise has struggled so much.

Jason Kidd only led you guys to two straight Finals, but it's cool, don't include him.  Keith Van Who?  Nope, it's clear those teams were all about Kerry.  And it's not like Dražen Petrović was beloved and is in the Hall of Fame or anything.  Nah, let's go with the underachieving duo of Kenny Anderson and Derrick Coleman instead.

Who else should we include?  Hmmm, should we go with the 3x All-Star and All-NBAer Buck Willians or should we go with the guy best known as Bernard's brother?  You're right, we already retired Buck's number, so let's go with Albert.  ::)

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Not a ton of memorable moments in those 35 years, but i think this game probably counts. Man i could watch this 4th quarter on rerun for the rest of my life.

this game qualifies as the single greatest GAME I ever had the privilege of seeing.  Absolutely amazing comeback.

I've seen some incredible individual performances as well as some other truly great games but this one proved that no deficit is insurmountable.  of course I was incredibly disappointed the C's came out lazy in the next game and thought they could dig it out again but came up well short.  :(

I think saying "Brooklyn" in front of Nets instead of "New Jersey" will do a lot for that franchise and make it a more popular destination.  I guess that's obvious, but it doesn't get talked about much.....

The new stadium is coming up fast and it's gonna be awesome. It'll be great to have more local NBA games in NYC that aren't as outrageously priced as MSG.

It'd be nice for them to beat the 76ers. Does anybody know yet if they'll be the New York Nets, Brooklyn Nets, or something else once they move?

I'm a believer that franchises most resemble the era of it's most success, this is why I like the Washington Wizards jerseys, the Golden State Warriors uniforms, and so on. The Nets best player of all time is Julius Erving, their most successful era was the mid-70's with the their 2 ABA championships.

They should be the New York Nets and their uniforms should look like this:

They will sell a lot of apparel, even without any good players.

Jay Z opening up the arena for the team he has a small part in bringing to his hometown, with a concert.  That's a must see.  Hope tickets won't be out of this world expensive.

And Governor Christie sent them off with a "good riddance."

What a clown. That guy couldn't pick Drazen Petrovic out of a line up.
