Wade is such a crying B. I dislocated my shoulder a few weeks ago and walked into the emergency room , I didn't need to get carted around in a wheel chair  like that pansy did when he dislocated his shoulder. Now he starts crying like a little baby because his finger got dislocated(as much as I hate him, Kobe has played with dislocated fingers and torn ligaments in his wrist). What a puss

Beaubois dislocated his finger in that bulls game tonight, but he still came back and played great.

so it's nothing serious.

Would love to see him for the year given the way the C's have been shafted by injuries.  But on the other hand, given the way that LeBron and Wade don't coexist well, I'd actually worry the Heat might improve with him out.

doesn't sound to bad, his left index finger just popped out of place

Yeah its painful at the time but once its back in you just tape it up and you can still definitely play on for the playoffs.

Well, you can only imagine how bad it looked with how dramatic he is. He acted as though his hand fell off.

Case in point, this is how he looked after a dislocated shoulder...

Jeez, that's pretty pathetic.

I had a teamm8 of mine dislocate his finger once. The game wasn't stopped because he didn't show anything, he just ran over to the side-line and had the coach pop it back in. He didn't leave the court until about 5 minutes later. He played great too.

I specifically remember him NOT catching one of my full-court cannonball passes though. The pass was spot on, but he just jumped out of the way since he didn't want to catch it with that hand :p

Anyway, unless he ripped, tore or broke something, that's pretty lame of him. He should take some notes on how Kobe plays.

Hope he's ok.

MIA will need everyone ready for a potential matchup with NY.

If NY can ever get Stat and Melo playing well together, this could be a HUGE upset in the making.

NY is already tougher (and bigger) upfront than MIA....and while Dirk was the hero of the DAL-MIA series, IMO the most important player on that team was Tyson....

...And MIA could be facing HIM again here shortly.

Get well, DWade....MIA's not beating NY without you.

They MAY not beat NY WITH you..

I'll admit that my floral knowledge is somewhat spotty, but, I'm guessing that's a pansy.

LeBron can carry that Heat team to the ECF with or without Wade. I can see the Bosh & LeBron beating the Knicks withotu wade in 6 games

I wish injury on almost no one, but Wade is one I wouldn't mind seeing miss time.  He is a real punk these days, and I don't think his bringing down of Rondo last year was completely innocent.  Put another way, he is my least favorite player on my least favorite team (yes, the Fakers have moved up a notch...)

Not all dislocations are the same, the bigger your shoulders are, the more it tends to hurt because to come out of the socket they have to rotate much further from their standing point/comfort zone.
I've had a snapped ankle, two dislocated fingers (one which is still crooked today), broken wrist and dislocated shoulder all occur during games, and the dislocated shoulder was by far the most painful. In fact they couldn't put me on a stretcher and move me until I'd been sedated with morphein. I have large shoulders and it was easily the most painful thing I've ever experienced.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Dirk was clearly the most important player on that team...I find any other theory close to laughable..they dont even make the playoffs without Dirk and with Tyson...the Mavs have missed JJ barrea, Deshawn stevenson and others along with Tyson and will still make the playoffs this season...I just cant fathom the Knicks beating the Heat without Carmelo being the reason why, and if Miamis big 3 is somehow someway "scared" of Tyson Chandler then we shouldnt have any problem seeing as how KG is a better player.
The heat could easily get to the ECF without wade...think cleveland cavs

Itd be nice to go there but I and plenty of others have busted up our knees and torn ACL/MCL without being carted off in a wheel chair like our very own Pierce who miracoulusly appeared 10 minutes later for some heroics and go on to win Finals MVP and didnt even have a torn acl...Wade missed most of that year and was actually hurt despite the shoulder/wheelchair combination being absurd

scaryjerry -

Tyson Chandler, while in DAL, took away MIA's ability to drive towards the rim...greatly limited it.

Tyson Chandler is a MUCH better center than Brendan Haywood.

Tyson Chandler is a top defensive center - along with Perkins. Plus, Tyson isn't afraid to give a hard foul - just like Perk.

Tyson Chandler sets the tone defensively for NY (and DAL, while he was there). I respect him in that regard, because he reminds me of our Kevin Garnett.

A potential NY-MIA series will feature Lebron and DWade shooting from the outside a lot. They may venture into the paint some, but not much.

I stand by my earlier assessment - NY could upset MIA in the first round. Admittedly, the likelyhood of that happening is a bit small because of NY's backcourt deficiencies....

BUT WAIT! :o - didn't NY lay one on BOSTON just the other night??

Jus' sayin.

Don't take New York Knicks lightly. Mike Woodson will have those boys focused for the playoffs.

Not sure why there is such a fear of MIA on celticsblog........
