Joe Johnson always uses his off arm to back off defenders, I wish they would call it once, it is a pretty unfair advantage.

Look...no matter what happens here, I'm proud of the C's.

This group here, minus The Big Four, have played their butts off.

They've missed some bennies, but at the same time they haven't really played a lot, either.

Proud of our bench crew!

ATL?

They are POSERS....mark it down. Even if they win this game, there's no guarantee that they'll win HCA.

And if they do? BOS will still beat them in a 7 game series. Anyone hear the crowd?

Sounds like OUR homecourt, lol..

Really proud of this group.

Doc rested Bradley for too long tonight in the 4th quarter.  He didn't come back in until just over the 6 minute mark.   That coupled with for some reason starting to run the offense through Marquis cost the Celtics the chance for a huge upset tonight.

No reason for Doc to have sat the young, energetic and fired up Bradley for half the 4th quarter and it cost the Celtics the game...

The Hawks are just dying to get beat tonight. They are practically begging the Celtics to beat them.

Celtics have no finishers to beat them tonight though.
I don't know how many times I have to say this on this blog before people start listening....

Never count this Celtic team out of anything.

If at the start of the night I told you no Pierce, KG, Ray, Pietrus or Rondo, that the Hawks would still play loads of JJ and Josh Smith and Jeff teague and then said with 3 minutes left we would only be down 1, what would you have said?

I would have asked for the next Powerball Numbers.
I'm good RR...I'm just not THAT good.  :D

JJJ is one trigger happy guy, Bass must be his role model. ;D

He can hit that shot, and he knows it. Probably some jitters, similar to what Bradley was going through before.

Good to see at least one other has learned.

Yeah good point, the only reason players play poorly or can't make open shots is because they don't get enough playing time.  Of course unless they don't get more playing time because they can't make open shots or play defense hmmm

This blog has never met a rookie who it didn't think should be playing more - no matter how inept they look when they do play, as in J3 tonight. He has been awful.

Where did I say JJJ should play more.

Good god, do people even read?

Is anyone watching/hearing the crowd? I'd say it's half Celtics fans in there.

Bass lost us this game though.

No reason for him to only have 10 points tonight.

This. i don't know where the JJJ high praise is coming from. He can't even guard a soul out there, not irked at all at Doc for not playing him. But i expect him to make a stride next year.
If he's here, fine. If not, fine. Neither of the Purdue Two are integral to next season.

Fitting that ANOTHER missed shot by Bass couple by getting beaten for an offensive rebound iced the game for Atlanta.

we put up some fight.  Bradley had a career night.  Hopefully his hot shooting continues into the playoffs.  Nice moral victory.

Should have won this game. Bradley was sat for way too long and ignored on offense for way too many possessions.

Bass also shot us out of the game.

All in all, we wont have trouble with this team in the first round.

Daniels is bad.

Really? For a 3rd string wing I'll take it. Hot [dang] I'm loving this!

Real bad!

Real real bad!!
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Just like Bradley wouldn't be integral to us last year.

Don't think I ever asked you who you were talking to.

So I'll say it again. I'm not talking to you. Period.

That clear?
