Avery ceiling is R. Westbrook, and I'm stoked.

Love how Avery has no fear even though Josh had a good block there

Fairly predictable first half overall with the Hawks letting the Celtics hang around but pulling away when they play more focused.

Bradley and Dooling were great offensively.  Bass was terrible.  The Celtics defense was horrific also which Doc will no doubt be upset about.  Great learning experience for the young guys...

An allstar shooting guard. Yes it would

He isn't good enough of a shooter to play 2, definitely not good enough of a passer to play 1. He will score by taking a lot of shots, forcing his way to the paint and creating havoc.
Sounds nice when things go well. But he isn't the type of player I like watching anyway.

He's long enough to guard 2-guards. His shot is rapidly improving with his confidence - remember, coming out of high school, his defense and his jump shot were regarded as his two biggest strengths. People need to break out of the thinking that shoot-first point guards (Westbrook) are some kind of evil - Westbrook is an incredible player.

I grew up watching Steve Francis and his flashy shoot-first style that people kept talking about like million times over and over again. That's a traumatic transition that people now throw out the idea of combo guard to give Rose an MVP and Westbrook a whole lot accolade, while they were slamming Francis and his fellow shoot-first players to the ground.
At least, it was traumatic for me.

And yes, of course, I was a big Francis fan.

As long as they're playing within the system, I'm fine with it. Bradley knows he's playing with guys who can't create their own shot tonight so he's looking for his own. We've seen Bradley is great without the ball in his hands, so I don't foresee any problems.

If Keyon Dooling can play like he did in the first half then he can definitely help in the playoffs.  Especially with scoring punch off the bench, not sure where he has been all season but what a great effort so far tonight...

True. That comment of mine wasn't made for Avery, though. It was about Westbrook :)
Hawks aren't playing tough defense. Celtics aren't playing any sorts of defense and pretty expectable outcome so far.

I hope Avery's ceiling doesn't include gun holsters :P

Bass needs Rondo to get him shots. His Career season is by product playing playing along side Rondo.

I think its the fact that he knows he can play alot of minutes tonight. He doesn't have the pressure of being replaced by Rondo if he messes up. Maybe this game could be a confidence builder for him

Wow... Avery Bradley, man.  He keeps surprising me.  I didn't realize he could create his shot like this.  Very impressive.  Earlier in the season when we were looking old, disinterested and boring, one of the main reasons I stopped watching was because there wasn't a single young player showing any signs of potential whatsoever.  Bradley within the last month or so has definitely fit that requirement... this has been a fun game to watch.

That said, he's getting absolutely destroyed by Joe Johnson.  Bradley's potential will always be limited by the fact he's undersized.  He'll never have the vision to play PG and he'll never have the size to deal with the Joe Johnsons of the world.

I don't get it.

Jeff Teague has 2reb 5ast 0pt and has a +2
Bradley has 0reb 2ast 17pt and has a -9
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG
