I see many ppl saying we should rest the starters and stuff like that, but the thing is we have to keep this 4th seed.
To many it seems that we have clinched it but no!!
I just read on a knicks forum that if they go 4-1 the rest of the way and we go 1-3 we are tied! And thats not impossible since they are playing mostly lottery teams the rest of their schedule, while we play orlando, atlanta, miami all tough playoff teams!

It doesn't matter. If you want to win a title, you'll have to beat Chicago or Miami away from home. What's up with the matchup being in the first round, in the semi finals or in ECF?

HCA in the first round is dependent on the Hawks/Magic though anyways better to be healthy.

We are 36 - 26 the are 32 - 29.

If we win a single game we own the tiebreaker and thus even if they go 5-0 we win the division. We have to lose out for them to have a chance.

If they can't win in the first round without HCA, Danny really should have blown it up.

Most important now is for everyone to be as healthy as possible.  I don't care if that means Daniels, 3J and EM average 40 minutes over these last few games.

I disagree with you somewhat on this one, I think playing some is important to keep rhythm and mental head space going the right way. But not if you're banged up and not full minutes.

We do need some rest however we need to stay competitive going into the playoffs to keep our rhythm flowing.

Four of their top 8 rotation guys are now banged up--Pierce, Rondo, Pietrus and Allen--and I wouldn't mind if they each had to sit even up to all 4 games to remain healthy.  (If they don't have HCA they start away anyway, so a single sluggish game to get up to speed isn't a big deal.)

But I agree generally that too much sitting is counterproductive and there's no reason to rest anyone who is healthy.  They only play 2 games in the last 5 days of the regular season, and that's as many days off as you'd want in regular circumstances.

You make a good point about there being a nice rest between the penultimate and the ultimate game of the season.

I say play them all to win.  I want home court advantage in the first round.

Well if we win our next two (Orlando/Atlanta) that'll go a long way towards HCA.

Next two games are pretty huge for us. Miami im not worried about I really dont care what happens in that game to be honest.

Agreed.  Let's go all out for these next two.  Then we get three days off to rest and keep an eye on what Orlando and Atlanta are doing.

Then, I'm guessing Doc plays everyone in the Miami game, as well.
