Skip Bayless is the fella on First Take, so is it possible you're thinking of him? I only ask because saying something so outrageous and thoughtless is something that Skip is known for. Though Cowherd tends to be cut from the same cloth. Kornheiser as well. They're all a bunch of blowhards.

In his Chat Wrap yesterday, Michael Wilbon actually touched on the subject of sports analysts like Skip who just behind a mic and don't do their homework. He had some very good insights on it.

Lebron's defense is incredibly overrated. He's a good defender, yes, but only because he is so big and fast. If you watch his decision making on defense he isn't a savvy or intelligent defender. In fact, he is pretty easily duped by smarter offensive players, and he is always ball watching. It's like Dwight Howard's offense ... gets some numbers due to physical gifts despite lacking real awareness/skill.

Cowturd's method say something untrue and divisive and watch ratings go up as people gripe.  It has worked for him but he is wrong more oft than not.  Just ignore him by responding your playing right into his hand folks.

Lebron's defense has been pretty mediocre this year.  He ranks 142nd is points allowed per possession, which is above average, but not lockdown.  Kevin Durant has looked a lot better this year among SFs.
