We gotta stop doubling so much.  What would you rather have?
1) Tyson C dunk?
2) clock running out and Melo trying to make a tough fall away?

#1 is a pretty much going in ALL the time, at least #2 has a chance of not going in.

I like how the C's are hustling to get back in the game.  I don't agree with pulling everyone because we got behind. We still control our own playoff destiny, play to win THIS game.

Not sure who kept on making the mistakes on the rotations, but Chandler killed us in that quarter offensively. YES OFFENSIVELY!!! And it had nothing to do with offensive rebounding.
They aren't helping off shooters this half

Pierce is in too much foul trouble, they need to help too much leaving chandler/other shooters open.

When melo isn't going one on one our defenders just need to stick with their men for the most part and make that guy beat us.

Not a bad quarter, we slowed it up, cut the lead, got some of their guys in foul trouble. Just giving us a chance to make another run

4th quarter comeback? I think so.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

We all love Stiemsma, but he's outmatched right now.
Clearly. But I'm not 100% convinced Chandler's offense was all on Steimer. KG and Pierce messed up once. I think Bass missed at least one switch.

  • You say when......
There should be a 3 second on Chandler every single possession, it's ridiculous how much he just stands in the lane.
True...he is in there long and often....

The dunks aren't off doubles but help D as Melo drives to the rim himself

I do hope to see some more of Rondo. He's been great today, and a return would mean he's alright.

What's beating us this game is the Knicks bench, and we are missing 2 very important bench players, Allen and Pietrus. The Celtics as a starting unit couldn't be playing any better right now. What's truly killing us right now is the fact that Allen and Pietrus aren't there to help us out both defensively, as well as offensively. There's no way players like Novak and Smith could have gone off to the same degree with Allen and Pietrus in there to cover them.

Agreed, but I think in those cases Stiemsma can't go all out for the block, he needs to contain a little bit.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I think it's Melo that will get a Triple Double first.
