If Rajon Rondo hit 80% of his free throws he'd bump his scoring average this year from 11.9 to 12.6.

If he had the confidence to go to the rim knowing he'd be good for the freebies I bet that number would go even further. With the big 3, Rondo and Bass you couldn't foul anyone on the court without paying for it.

It is as simple as changing his free throw style.. Amazing to think this option is sitting on the table and he's just not taking it.. Rondo is a strange bird, so maybe he would go for it. I wish he would.

if shooting 90% from the line was as easy as that, then everybody would. athletics isnt that simple though. Its hard changing your shooting form, especially when its not drastically messed up.

It's not a matter of him not going to the rim in fear of not hitting FTs don't know why I always hear that. He just isn't good at drawing contact or that good finishing with contact bottom line.
