They were a paper tiger all season. The Celtics would destroy Indiana in a 7 game series. They only beat us early in the season when it seemed like almost any team could beat us. Pierce was still working his way back into game shape, and the Celtics had all sorts of problems back then. In our last two meetings with Indiana, we took it to them. Indiana is not in the same league as this Celtics squad.

Indiana is unlikely to fall into the 5/6 seed where they could face the C's with 3 game lead over Atlanta/Orlando (3 in the loss column).

They'd have to fall down similar to the C's letting the division slip away. (go 3-3 and have Hawks/Orlando win out, or 2-4 and have C's go 5-0 and Hawks/Magic go 5-1)

BTW the C's magic number to get the division is now just 3. (considering the 76ers only, the Magic number for Knicks is just 2, if we win Tuesday they're eliminated from the division race)

At this point, I think that shooting for home court advantage in the first round is an achievable goal.  Unfortunately, there seems to be no chance of having any meaningless games down the stretch.  If we get lucky, maybe by the time we face Milwaukee in the final game everything will be settled.
