Nothing wrong with Steimsma, Bass, Bradley, Green, Rondo running the floor...with 3j, KG, PP, Pietrus, ray and/or a solid rookie or two adding to the depth

We aren't going away quietly, I can tell you that!

Dooling needs to pack his bags.

We were all saying that at the deadline.

Unfortunately it seems that 29 other NBA teams were paying the Celtics to keep him.

Who needs to rebuild? The way Bass, Stiemsma, Rondo, Bradley, Pierce, KG, Allen, and Pietrus are playing I think the term is RELOAD not REBUILD!!!! ;D

Players who need to come back: Rondo, Pierce, Bradley, Bass

Players I'd really like to see back: Green, KG, Pietrus, Stiemsma

Players I could take or leave: Ray, JJJ, E'Twaun, Wilcox

Players who gotta go: Dooling, 'Quis, Hollins, Sasha, JO

JJJ and ET will stay, if only because their trade value is zero but they are young, know the system and are cheap.

I can easily see Ainge taking advantage of Bradley's late season breakout to trade him with some picks and maybe a resigned Jeff Green or Bass for an all-star vet. He could then use cap space to sign another quality player. If not, I don't see us keeping both Green and Bass unless they both agree to 1 year deals.

The big three have virtually no trad value. We can maybe resign KG and Ray for cheap. I can also see Ray signing elsewhere for more money and KG retiring. Pierce is going nowhere. His value is too low to get a good deal for him. Rondo I believe stays, as Ainge has often explored deals and knows that teams don't want to pay fair value for him. Steimsma stays. He's dirt cheap, knows the system, and is young. Same for Sasha.

Dooling and Quisy are done, stick a fork in both of them.

I can't even think about that because I honestly love everyone on our team and I think we will win the championship with our roster.

Even if we wanted to project our future, we'd have to see how things shake out between the playoffs, draft, and free agency,

I think Bradley's the last guy they trade right now.  Other than a sign and trade or two I don't see Danny having many deals to make, except for consolidating a pick or two in the draft.

3J look lost

Same thing was said about AB last year.  Give rookies a couple years before you judge them

We know the team is being built around Rondo and being built on defense.  That should clue you in to who is staying, coming, or going.

So we need guys who can run up and down the court, fill the lanes on breaks, hit set shots, and care most about defending the ball.

3J needs some more weight and work on his D.   Other aspects of his game show promise.

Sasha can defend. Boston is a defensive minded team. In my opinion, he's not going anywhere.

Who goes?  Sadly I think Ray Allen's talents will have him switching to another team as his 3 pt shooting would be huge for many teams and we are only going to have so much money to spread around.
Marquis Daniels
Dooling
Hollins? I'm guessing he can be signed for the cheap, hasn't shown much but he's young with size.
Wilcox?  If he is healthy and we need a big/affordable I can see ainge keeping him
Moore?  rookie contract so he's already signed, could see him being a portion of trade if needed, maybe staying on but if bradley improves his handle any for pg minutes moore isn't needed

Green...I tend to think he'll sign with Boston, he's a class guy with good all around game, he & pierce would give us a really strong sf position
kg, greg, pietrus resign!
