translation: time to start resting our starters for the playoffs. Ray got his, Paul is going to get his now, and KG is next.

I doubt this is a legit injury but seriously....basketballers need to harden up.

Blessing in disguise. KG needs to sit too.

I don't see how a swollen toe is a blessing in disguise. Anything that limits a player's ability to do physical activity is bad.

Regarding another person's post, it is a legit injury if it affects Pierce's mobility. Hardening up is irrelevant. Not letting it heal before the playoffs if it effects his mobility would be a stupid move, especially if done in the name of pride.

Pierce doesn't look like himself lately. I wouldn't mind him getting some rest. Stubbed toe or not. He should visit KG's house and use that pool.
I moved the cheese.

Doc should take a page out of Pop's book and sit him with the reason he is old.

Give me a break. I come from Australia where guys play a football game running 15km+ a game, getting tackled, bumped and ridden into the ground without padding whilst playing through cramp, exhaustion, shoulder dislocations, mild concussions etc. Forgive me for not believing a stubbed toe in basketball shoes is a legit injury. Unless its broken, which I doubt, it's a convenient DNP excuse.

Please rest him tomorrow night, Doc, and KG, too.  The rest of the guys ought to be able to handle the Bobcats.

I know it's just wishful thinking, though.  Doc will probably play KG and Paul 35 minutes each tomorrow night.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

We better stop underestimating NBA caliber teams, regardless of how bad they are suppose to be. If we didn't have certain players on our team, the Bobcats beating us would be a very legitimate possibility. Not having Pierce might very well be enough for it to happen. Anybody can have some lucky shots drop for em, and KG and others can miss some enough shots, or there could be enough mistakes, and before you know it, the Bobcats have a decent lead and begin running away with it.
