So the C's after a very long stretch of some of the best basketball seen in these parts since the 2010 playoff season, finally had a stinker.

Guess what? It happens.

But since this site loves to go from love to hate, great to horrendous, and black to white at the drop of a dime, I thought maybe there should be a thread for all the over reaction.

Have at it people!!!

Nothing like excuses.

We played our starters big minutes and still lost to one of the worst teams in the NBA.

There is nothing good about it.

This loss could come back to haunt them, if they fail to get the 4th seed, Celtics are looking at being bounced out of the first round.

We really should have packaged one of the Big 3 for some role-players from the Raptors, they have alot of talent on that squad.

There is no doubt, in my mind, that the Celtics are going to beat whoever they play in the first round.

It isn't the loss that is the problem. It is the principle. That effort was disgusting. It wasn't a "bad game." It was a no effort until we are down 15 with 5 minutes left game. Then they put in a 100% effort and almost won. We would have won by 40 if they just put in the effort from the start.

These guys are paid so much money, I expect effort each night. If they put in the effort and have a bad game so be it. But anyone who says the Celtics put in a real effort for the first 43 minutes is kidding themselves.

I hope you're not serious.  Derozan is the only decent one and he played an outstanding game tonight.

Ah well, it's a let down game.  guys will be a bit more motivated tomoorw and coast off on charlotte.  Its tough to stay focused with games like this.  Sometimes its better to lose a game along a stretch just to shake the monotony off and have a fresh start.  Time for a new streak.  But hey, heck if they didnt show they could comeback :D

The Sixers lost to the Nets tonight so this loss really doesent mean much, we werent going to catch Indiana for the 3rd either way.

Im worried about the Nets, they are fresh off a win over the Sixers and they are a talented team, I see us going 1-2 on this road trip with a win over the Bobcats but I can easily see us going 0-3. We just dont have enough gas in the tank.

Bobcats don't even have a tank.

Yea but if the C's have even less energy then they have tonight (lets be honest, they will be running on fumes at this point) then the Bobcats will crush them just like the Raptors did tonight.

Bobcats are on pace to shatter the all-time worst winning percentage in an NBA season if they lose all of their remaining games.
I hope we are not going to be their saviors.

I'm not doom and gloom at all but if you take basketball on a night by night basis you can't excuse the celtics team for losing to a bunch of d-leaguers...that's just ridiculous.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?
