Bass was just on NBATV being interviewed by Shaq and the crew, he said he hyperextended his knee a little bit but that hes feeling pretty good.

So yea, some good news that it wasnt anything serious. It seems like everytime one of our guys returns to the court from an injury, the same game he returns someone else gets injured.

thank god. we cant afford to lose any of our bigs at all...especially Bass who has been so instrumental to us this year.

Might be time to cut down his minutes in this back-back-back

He should rest.

If Bass, KG, or even Steimsma are any less than 100% for the postseason, this dream run is over...

Hasn't he done this like 4 times now this season... goes down and we all think he's done forever THEN he just walks it off and finishes the game.

That was scary.  When he was lying on the ground I was trying to process in my head what the heck we would do if he was down for the rest of season.  I'm very happy he got up and walked away.  Maybe give him the next game off...

Whew!
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I say we shut him down the next game give him a nights off he deserves it.

Edit: oh yea curious what were the NBA TV guys saying about us, still doubting us?

Small ball. Lots, lots, LOTS of small ball.

.edit: we'd be a team of Leprechauns. HAH.

Agreed - let him rest vs TOR. I'd even keep him out a game or two beyond TOR.

Start Stiem, and give Hollins some extra minutes.

As for NBA TV? They generally gives BOS solid props.

Really good news.  The way he was clutching his knee had me in stunned silence.  I agree- give him the night off tonight.  I'm worried it might swell up later today so if that's the case, then just give him this weekend off and go small ball against the 3 inferior opponents we have coming up (allowing KG to keep his minutes).

Kid needs a brace.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Yeah I'm surprised the training staff hasn't glued one onto his knee at this point.

If he needs to rest his knee let him, just see how it responds tomorrow. It wouldn't be the worst thing to just Let Moore/Dooling/Sasha/JJJ/Hollins/Daniels play 30+ minutes each during one of the next three games. (probably run Pietrus out there at least 20 just to keep his legs/wind going)

What team on the schedule can Doc afford to play smallball the entire game?  Because that sounds more likely than JJJ being run out there for 30+ minutes.
