I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Missed more than a few easy shots. I thought he was really exhausted.

Can we say that was an "ugly" triple double?  20 assists, and not one of the mesmerizing, how-does-he-do-that variety.

The most important stat, of course, is the letter W.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Triple Double?   Get rid of the bum.  Trade him for Deron Williams or a box of peanuts.

JK I love Rondo.   Just thought we had to have some more obligatory post that like here.  /sarcasm 2

Seriously, I think having another running guy out there helps him alot.   Bradley and him are disruptive and a mini fast break waiting to happen.   I bet the ball doesn't get past halfcourt a lot in practice with those two.

The camera showed Josh Smith looking over to our bench, in what I assume was to give Rondo props (since  they are old buddies) and be sportsmanlike.

This is one thing that bothers me with Rondo, Josh Smith is on our radar as a player we might try to recruit. He probably texted him after or something.

The 3-16 shooting stands out more.

Seriously?.... I mean seriously?

This bears repeating.  Rondo is the most polarizing sports figure we've had in Boston for quite some time.

Well yeah, a triple double is just a arbitrary fan stat.

Rondo shooting around 500 TS% and having a few less rebounds would have been a better game. A much better game in fact.

10 points on 16 shots and 4 free throws is ugly stuff. Defense wins the day again.

Jessica Camerato tweeted that Josh Smith came to the Celtics locker room to talk with Rondo after the game.

My guess is that Rondo had played so many minutes with bad refs that he needed to get out of there.

To me the most remarkable thing about Rondo's game was how he battled through everything (physical and mental fatigue and bad officiating), stayed on the court and really kept the offense going (and played some really great defense, too). Even his misses tells the same story, that he just kept going.

I don't think that 3 for 16 tells the whole story.

Remember that this is a game where the Cs had an uncharacteristically high number of 24 second violations, and many, many other posssesions that went deep in the shot clock.

More than a few of Rondo's shots were very late in the clock after he couldn't find a pass and had to launch a bad one.  If some of those had fallen, they would have qualified as circus shots.  Can't blame him for missing those.

Well as the PG and leader of our offense that's also in large part his fault. (though clearly not entirely, only KG/Bass had it going offensively).

The fact that everyone is focusing on his poor shooting shows hhow skewed our minds are to scoring...the guy heloed his team in other ways to the tune of 20 assists and 10rebounds which is just as good

He was good passing and grabbing lose balls.

His shooting was terrible.

Overall, good game that the team won.

I can always deal with a player that is struggling with his shot as long as he does the other things to help win a game.
