Bradley was the number 1 high school player at one time over John Wall.  Wall was the first pic 2 years ago.
Both have different roles. Of course Wall has more pressure to succeed, but knowing what you know now.
Who would you rather have?

Wall without even blinking.

Bradley has been very impressive, and the skies the limit for him, but Wall should be making the leap, now that they have started getting some of the cancers away from him.

I would go so far as to say that if Wall had come up with guys like KG, Pierce, and Allen around him, and a coach like Doc, rather than idiots like Blatche, Young, and McGee, I think he would be knocking on the door of being a top 5 player in the league very soon.

As for the high school rankings...I think that is a bit decieving, because even though ESPNU had Bradley over Wall at one time, as a college prospect, Wall has always been the top NBA prospect from that highschool class.

Wall.

Just to use him as trade bait since he serves no real purpose with Rondo already on this team.

I'm going with Bradley. Never thought I would have said that in years past, but Wall's early success seems to have taken away much of his drive, and he had work ethic concerns dating from high school.

Keep in mind, had Bradley to Washington and started right away, he would have had decent stats as well. The only game Bradley got decent minutes during his rookie year, he put up 20 or so points, correct?

He wouldn't have had the same rookie success as Wall, but he's having at least the same impact as Wall now, and I'd put my money on Bradley and his work ethic to establish himself as the better player over the long term.

Never thought I'd say that.

On basketball talent alone it is Wall and it isn't close.  Seriously, Wall has Rose and  Westbrook type talent.  A more legitimate question would be Wall or Rondo, and still many would choose Wall.

All that said, I don't like Wall's mental make up.  Not sure he is a leader, which is what one would expect out of a PG.  Bradley on the other hand is quite humble, which translates to hard work and someone willing to do the dirty work. I, like a lot of people, absolutely love those kind of guys.

But yeah, you still take Wall without blinking.

I would take Wall unless Avery's shot all the sudden improves much more then Bradley.

Totally agreed. Wall has Westbrook's exact skillset. Inconsistent volume scorer with high dunk contest potential and turns over the ball for nearly every assist dished out.
Still, just on sheer potential, he eclipses Bradley easily. But no way on the earth I'm taking him over Rondo.

That sums up my thinking, as well.  (Give me Rondo over Wall, though.)

Wall reminds me of Iverson for some reason. Seems very low IQ , with great skills and speed.   Rondo is more like Nash or Stockton . He has an huge BB IQ on court , and is in a class pretty much by himself.

Never cared one bit for Iverson.  Wall is not the type player I would want on a Celtics team.   He is right where he belongs.

Wall is more polished than Bradley on offence, but hes thin, smallboned and doen't seem to care for getting in the way or playing lockdown defense. Wall far better scorer at this point with fancy moves.  AB is built like a tank  and won't break easy , also I think we are just seeing the beginning of what AB will be doing.

AB is coachable kid and well mannored. Type of person I want on my team.  Never had that felling about Wall.

Can we really have any kind of accurate view of Wall?  He has had the worst, and most immature supporting cast for the majority of his (very short) career.  I don't think it can be undersold just how much it can hurt a PGs development, when the guys who he is supposed to be learning from, may in fact be some of the dumbest (McGee and Young) and laziest (Blatche) players in the league.

Wall is on an terrible team. If he were on a mid level or contender, we could judge his talent better.

As noted above, Bradley's also stronger and tougher, with a bigger frame to get even more Tony Allen strong.

Unless Wall got his leg amputated and I didn't notice, I don't think this is debate-worthy.

Bradley is way better than a 1-legged Wall.
