Really?  Barkley was an excellent passer; he had something like 20 triple-doubles in his career, plus multiple trip-dubs in the playoffs.

Speaking of triple-doubles, it looks like Rondo is trying to polish his off.  He forced a couple of shots there.
I know he was a great all-around player but don't remember him being a big time passer --  certainly not for that volume of triple doubles.

It was definitely an asset for Charles; he averaged over 5 assists per game in his MVP season, for instance.  Believe it or not, Barkley only ranks slightly behind KG and Webber in terms of career assists per game average (3.9 vs. 4.0 vs. 4.2 assists per game)

He had at least 20 triple doubles, plus 4 more in the playoffs.  If you thought that Pippin or Hakeem or Antoine Walker.  He led the league in triple doubles with 6 in 1993.
