All of the ESPN folks keep saying that Miami is lost or wasnt giving effort

They cant comprehend that the Celtics just simply beat the Heat. Thats it. No effort questions, no injured players. The Celtics beat the Heat again and all the idiot ESPN dudes dont want to look like idiots so theyre blaming it on the Heat's effort or Spoelstra. LOL as if the Heat werent trying their hardest to beat the Celtics. Its just disrespectful to the Celtics and ignorant.

when they throw full court passes to each other- thats amazing. They do plenty of amazing stuff. A routine allep oop to lebron, though, is exactly that in the nba- routine.

The Celtics have played great of late obviously, but they are right in a sense that the Heat have looked lost lately. Don't get me wrong, the Celtics great display has a lot to do with tonight's game's outcome.

To me, they just look gassed. They just look tired and can't run and gun like they used to. They (Wade and LBJ) passed by everyone, on fastbreaks all the time. You can't see that nearly as much as we used to. It's no surprise though, I expected the Heat to get tired like this. It's one of those tired feelings that won't go away until the end of the season. It has hit them early because of their style of play.

It'll be interesting to see how Erik Spoelstra manages the team. Gregg Popovich said all along that he will choose health/rest over record and Spoelstra has said the opposite. The Heat are younger obviously, but this compact scheduling isn't easy for no team.

I kind of agree but at the same time the heat really hustled tonight. Much more effort than the game earlier this month. You could tell they really wanted this one, and they still couldnt pull it off, which is a credit to the Cs.

Miami put out big time energy but could not stop the juggernaut. AB has made a huge difference in this team. From what I saw the Celts ran em into the ground. Miami simply couldn't handle the pressure.

i agree that the celtics beat the heat because the celtics were the better team last night. they outplayed the heat, and the heat did try hard to win.

but....

it took a near perfect effort by the celtics to beat the heat at home. i am encouraged since the celtics did win in miami. 

but it also took great shooting from pierce, kg, and rondo to do so. i dont know how many nights we can expect the celtics to shoot like they did last night.

if, when, the celtics and the heat meet in the playoffs it will be a tough, tough series for both teams. miami will have to play really hard and well to beat the celtics. look for labron and wade to regularly play close to 40 minutes a game.

unless the celtics are super-good, ala last night, it will be a tough, tough series for them to win. the key will be for the celtics to win one of the first two games in miami. if the celtics do that, and they can, they have a good shot to win the series.

ha, ha....when i look at the celtics 3 weeks ago, i dont think i would have been able to write a post like this one. the celtics really are playing well right now.

if they continue like this in the playoffs, they have a legitimate shot at winning it all.

Im actually suprised the heat could make it up and down the court with ESPN hanign off their jock all night.  I swear I seen that one alley oop highlight form the 1st quarter at least 7 times.  The Heat are a group of individuals, when they become a team they'll be good.

What do you expect? Chris Broussard, of all people, is not going to go out and give Boston any credit.  When the "experts" have been saying all along that Miami is the team to beat, or at least one of those teams, they are not going to go back on that after one game.

But the fact is...Miami played their butts off in that game, playoff level intensity.  There were mini-fights everywhere.  They did not lose because of lack of effort.
