If we just keep from getting blasted out of the gym ( which they are bent on doing )  will be a some sort of victory for the Celtics. Don't feel right... like walking into a hornets nest.  I think we got payback comming.

Don't see that happening. We matchup really well with them. Much better than we do with the Bulls.

Glad I can say, "I told you so".  ;D

we've now beat Miami twice.  That's 2 times this season we have proven capable of beating a contender.

KG moving to center... starting bradley... it's all completely changed the dynamics of this team.  This was pretty unpredictable.  For the first time all season, I have hope that we have a major longshot chance of winning a title.

I just dont see Miami having an answer for Rondo/KG if they keep playing like this...

thats a major advantage at 2 spots..

and now that we have actual legit bigs in Steimsma/Bass to help guard the paint we can make it alot harder on them than last year when we had JO/BBD(laying an egg)

And we can put KG on Bosh and Bradley on Wade, which really limits them. If you recall, Wade lived in the paint last year during the playoffs, which gave Bosh a bunch of open jumpers. This means that a lot of the scoring load will fall on James' shoulders.

time to read the heat blog  ;D

Oh its blessed funny ....they have blamed everyone in the USA I think for this loss... they've tashed everbody on the team as bums...  and they are PRAYING they don't meet the Celtics in the first round.

We got the HEATER following really messed up..... its too funny..

They keep talking about NEEDING to get some REAL SHOOTER on the team...seems to me they have three of the best players in the league....  and they still can't job done.

Wade won't let Spo get fired , cause Spo is easy on him and lets them get away with being lazy.

What a screwed up mess...........

Most people on the Heat treads now admitt that the talent alone of Wade and LBJ playing hero ball may not get the job done against REAL teams ..like the Spurs , MAV, Celtics , Grizzs, OKC. and Bulls.....

and once Pietrus comes back, we have another solid defender to throw at wade/Lebron.

I think wade is the much more clutch player, so if I had to choose one of them, I would rather let Lebron carry the scoring load.

what I liked about tonight was that WE dictated the pace of the game...we made sure to force the heat into a half court game. and that takes away their strength...its what Dallas did to them last year

This game, guys. This game. OH MY GOD!! The Celtics played amazing!! Nobody can deny that these Celtics are the real deal right now. Nobody. They played with heart. They were amazing on all accounts.

And this game, more than ever, showcases why Bradley starting for Ray and Ray coming off the bench is so good for this team. That first quarter performance was the major thing that helped win us this game. Bradley, when we were in trouble early, came up big for us and hit some huge shots for us. Stiesmsa has confidence! He has confidence!!! To get blocked the way he did, and come back with that jump shot and alley hoop finish. This kid believes!!!! Ray with the huge 3 when we needed it from him the most. This is GREAT!!!!!!
Didn't Bradley score our first 5 points or so? It was awesome

Yes. He absolutely did. It was at a time when the Heat could have easily begun running away with this game, and it was Bradley early play that I feel helped convince the Celtics that they could win this thing, and helped to calm the ship when we could have easily been swept away in those early opening minutes of the game.

I believe seeing Bradley show up for them so early is what indirectly gave this Celtics team so much confidence that they were able to come out with such an amazing shooting performance.

Doc said that Dooling will probably play when we play teams that have 2 small guards (think the Bucks with Jennings and Ellis), but won't against bigger teams. He said Dooling has been great about it, and he's a great guy to have in your locker room. Doc seems to be a big fan, so, despite all the Dooling bashing, he might be back next year.

I am off. Still high but will try to get some sleep. See you tomorrow. I leave you all with a quote from a random Heat fan in the Heat blog.

Quote
This..and Rajon effin’ Rondo knocking down 3’s and KG must have took a little dip in Lazarus Pit

Had to work late tonight so I caught this on DVR.  What a win!  Who'd've predicted it'd turn out to be a huge shootout and the Celtics would actually outscore them.  Great game, maybe the best of the season.
